1. Food - This is an all time favorite. You cannot go wrong with this. Cook his favorite meal. May be a steak or a cake. You can also give him a monthly gift card for his favorite coffee or make a gift basket with his favorite ingredients if he loves cooking himself. You can even give him a Barbeque Sauce bottle if he loves Grilling.

2. Hand Painted Apron for a Dad who loves cooking and grilling. You might want to write BEST DAD IN THE WORLD OR Mike's DAD. Something which makes him smile every time he looks at it.

3. Set of precious pictures with Dad with his favorite song in background. You can give this in a Digital Photo frame if you have one or on a computer. It will be a great idea to play it when your Dad wakes up in the morning.

4. Make a painting to hang in his Garage or Tool room. Take a small piece of canvas, imprint your both hands in color and print on that. Put a date on that and write Happy Father's Day or Love you Dad. Frame it by cutting a cardboard in the shape of the frame .The inner side should be smaller than your painting. Now tie little twigs and give it a rustic touch and then stick some dry leaves on the border, preferably fall leaves if you already have those from a trip with him last year. Place this painting in the frame and from the back side give support with a bigger cardboard piece . Stick both using either glue or double sided tape.

5. Plan a day out with him, this being appropriately a summer event. If all the kids do not stay at one place and its been long since you all got together. You can plan a surprise get together with one of the kids taking Dad to that meeting place. Take lots of pictures. Make a collage later. Believe me, this will be the best gift for him.

If you do not want to spend money on printing it , you can send him the link in an email. Online sharing is best at Picaboo

7. Photo bookmarks : For Fathers who read a lot. Make as many book marks as there are kids with one kid's photo in each.

8. Make a key ring with air dry clay or oven baked clay whichever you have. Paint BEST DAD using paint. This will be something he will see everyday and think of your nice gesture.

9. Make a handwritten book listing the events or moments which made you feel you are blessed with such a great Dad and what makes him special. Tell him what you feel about it. Make it a handwritten one, try to write in readable handwriting. Handwritten will make it extra special. Decorate it with some old photographs which he might have not seen in many days. Date it.
