Kenny finds himself in a bar getting served nothing but milk while he cries on the bartender's shoulder. The old bartender reminds Kenny that no matter how bad he thinks life is at home that the good stuff will always be the moments he shares with family. This powerful song has even been used to convey the Family First organizations message in television commercials.
9. No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problem
Kenny brings his Caribbean attitude to country music in this first release off the album of the same name. The beach attitude runs rampant through the lyrics and is what many fans have come to associate with Chesney music. Kenny has continued to portray the Caribbean cowboy through his music.
8. Touchdown Tennessee
This limited edition single was a tribute to legendary broadcaster John Ward of the University of Tennessee Volunteer's football team. The tribute also raised money for St. Jude Children's Hospital and the John Ward Scholarship fund. The song opens with recordings of Ward calling Volunteer football games and the recordings continue throughout the song as Chesney explains just how much John Ward meant to the Volunteer football fans.
7. There Goes My Life
Kenny's tale of a teenage football star and his girlfriend's mistake that became the best choice of their lives made a statement at a time when teenage pregnancy was on the mind of many parents. The ending chorus of the song leaves people wondering just what his daughter is off to do but knowing that he is happy with the decisions he has made.
6. Summertime
Nothing calls in summertime like the single from Kenny. Baseball season is starting up, the temperatures are rising, and the bikinis keep the boys on their toes. This anthem to summer will likely be relevant for many years and generations to come.
5. Don't Blink
One-hundred years really does go by quickly through the lyrics of this song. Kenny reminds listeners to slow down and enjoy the time they have with family and friends. Many parents of adult children can relate to the feeling of children growing up in the blink of an eye.
4. Wife and Kids
Kenny opens up about his hopes for a family. This touching song was not a single but the raw emotion behind the vocals could easily have carried this song to the top of the charts.
3. She Thinks My Tractors Sexy
A country boy's dreams come true when the girl he likes falls in love with his tractor. Sexy tractors aside, Kenny finds away to make farmer tans sound hot.
2. The Life
Playa del Carmen becomes the backdrop to the question of what are we all really working for. The Mexican fishermen has the chance to teach the American business man a lesson about how to spend life living instead of spending life working to maybe live after retirement.
1. I'm Alive
What more can we ask for than to be alive? Kenny's beautiful voice leave fans feeling a sense of happiness at the mere fact that they are alive. I'm Alive is still receiving plenty of air time on radio stations across the country.
