Top 10 Man Vs. Wild Episodes on Discovery Channel

Man Vs. Wild is one of Discovery Channels survival television shows. This show is hosted by the outrageous Bear Grylls. We have seen Bear scour the Earth testing out his survival skills while doing some unthinkable things. From eating bugs to even drinking his own urine, here are my top ten Man Vs. Wild episodes.

My number 10 episode in the top 10 Man Vs. wild countdown is Season one Episode #6 Sierra Nevada. I like this show Because first of all it was filmed around Beautiful Lake Tahoe, and because it showed Bear use some techniques of the the Native Americans such as building Shelters and how to find food. It was also neat when we saw Bear calm some wild horses.

Number 8 in my countdown of the top 10 Man Vs. Wild shows is Season three Episode #6 Patagonia. Patagonia which stretches from Chile to Argentina Bear starts off on a glacier and shows us how to navigate them safely while staying out and away from crevasses. Next Bear shows us how to dig out the snow to make a sleeping shelter.

Next on my count down Of the top 10 Man Vs. Wild shows is Season one Episode #3 Costa Rican Rainforest. The show starts off with Bear parachuting into the Rainforest of Costa Rico where after getting stuck in the trees he has to figure out how to get the bottom, which is 100 feet below. After he makes it down Navigates white water rapids and has to watch out for poisonous snakes and man eating Jaguar.

Number 6 on my list of Top ten Man Vs. Wild shows is Season 4 episode #1 Zambia. In the episode we find Bear working his way through Africa trying to stay off the Lion menu. Next Bear shows us how to traverse some of the worlds biggest rapids. All this and he still has enough time to stop and have a snack, Giant Beetle Larvae anyone?

Number 5 in my Top 10 Man Vs. Wild shows is Season 2 Episode #6 Scotland. in this episode Bear travels through the highlands of Scotland where he makes a shelter out of a dead deer. Bear then goes on to show us how to trap and cook rabbits.

My 4th pick for the Man Vs. Wild Top 10 shows is Season Episode 1 episode #9 Desert Island. Once again we see Bear Parachute out of the sky only this time he land in the sea next to an uninhabited island. trying not to get stung by jellyfish or attacked by sharks Bear makes his way to land. Then he shows us how to collect rain water and builds a raft out of junk that washed up on shore.

The 3rd pick in my Top 10 Man Vs. Wild shows is Season 2 Episode #1 Everglades. Bear is once again dropped in the middle of no where, this time is just happens to be the Florida Everglades. While trying to maneuver through Alligator infested water Bear builds a hammock type bed in the trees of the swamp. and while making his way to safety he travels trough razor sharp grass.

My 2nd pick for the Top 10 Man Vs. Wild shows is Season 2 episode #4 Kimberly Australia. In this episode Bear is dropped in the Australian outback, comes face to face with Saltwater Crocodiles and even drinks his own Urine. Thats right he drinks his own Urine.

Now for my Number 1 pick for the Top 10 Man Vs. Wild show is Season 1 episode #7 African Savannah. In this episode Bear is once again in Africa trying not to get run down from some of Africa's big game animals like Rhino and the Deadly Cape Buffalo. Bear the tracks a lion kill and eats a dead Zebra and shows us how to get Water from Elephant dung.
