1. Yahoo Sports - this is a general website covering all sports but if you are from a country where martial arts are not yet mainstream, this could be the website for you. You can get the latest news in the UFC section and watch the upcoming shows that are on PPV.
Since it is Yahoo, the content is good and the editorials are professional. This is a more casual website for the non-hardcore fan of MMA. It is also a pro-UFC website so if you don't like the UFC and its shows, you best go elsewhere.
2. Sherdog - this is one of the oldest websites in MMA (founded 1997) and one of the biggest. It has the largest MMA community in the world but also is dominated by the more hardcore mixed martial arts fans.
These guys provide plenty of news coverage but also recently they are doing these live streams of Strikeforce and other interesting shows. UFC hates Sherdog and so it is probably an anti-UFC media channel.
3. Bleacher Report - written by fans for the fans. Fans act as writers and write what the fans want to know about. Cool slideshows, dream matches and so much more. Not just MMA, but what they do deserves a lot of credit.
4. MMA Junkie.com - this publisher comes out with the latest news quicker then anyone else. This is the honest truth. I get their tweets every day and they are always on the ball. Well-done guys!
5. UFC.com - the UFC is a solid promotion that maintains a certain level of quality in anything it does. This is why today this is the biggest and most successful mixed martial arts promotion. Its website is full of UFC content that is often not available elsewhere. UFC sure know the value of the Internet.
6. Youtube.com - yes, this is not an MMA website, but... this is one of the best resources on the Internet to watch old MMA fights that have taken place and other interesting MMA-related materials. You want to see those Royce Gracie fights for free? They are on youtube and you can watch all of these over and over again. Same goes for Fedor and his old Pride fights that are mentioned so often in the press.
Great job Youtube and Google, you should do a deal with UFC and Strikeforce to show us the latest!
7. MMAblips - I really don't know what it is about this website but it seems to have the content that everyone wants to see.
8. MMAmania - there are many sights that wish to compete with Sherdog to be that number one website that is going to carry the MMA community. They are not there yet but are doing a good job bring some valuable info.
9-10. Five Ounces of Pain (good professional coverage), ADcombat (if you like the submission wrestling perspective)
So this is the list. Comments and ideas always welcome as always!
