#10. Beer
You sit down to watch a few football games on Sunday and have a couple beers. After having a couple you notice you only have one beer left in the fridge. You're already past the point where you can safely make a beer run, and the one beer that is left will not last even until the end of the first game of the day. Running out of beer is definitely an annoying occurrence for many of us sports fans, and even worse for NASCAR fans due to the enjoyment of the race relies solely on your beer supply (only kidding of course).
#9. Energy
Depending what you do for a job, or how active you are, this could be a lot higher on your personal list. Running out of energy is extremely annoying. Because of this annoyance there is a billion dollar energy drink market.
#8. Clean Socks
Not only have half of your socks been eaten by your dryer, you never have a clean pair. Getting ready for work and searching through your dresser only to realize you don't have a pair of socks that is clean. Now you have to pick two random socks and hope that your pants stay down enough to cover the embarrassment that is your pair of mismatching socks.
#7. Shaving Cream
Can't function without my Barbasol. A bad start to the day occurs whenever the lathery foam comes out weak and I can't even get enough to finish my shave.
#6. Deodorant
How come you never realize you're out of deodorant until you're completely out? You have to hate when you get that end of the deodorant tube scrape on your armpits and then have to go the entire day without working hard enough to break a sweat.
#5. Toothpaste
There's nothing like that nasty grimy feeling on your teeth and not being able to do anything about it because you ran out of toothpaste. Mouthwash only makes it so other people can't smell your unbrushed mouth, but you still have that nasty feeling until you can make it to the store to buy another tube of paste.
#4. Clean Underwear
Sometimes you run out of quarters for laundry, hey stuff happens...and it sucks! Dish soap in a shower is better than nothing but they still don't feel clean.
#3. Gasoline
If you don't have a cell phone handy, this might be #1. First you have to hope you have a gas can, or at least money to purchase a gas can, then hopefully you know where a gas station is located, and then walk back after you get a can of gas to the car. Running out of gasoline is a sure way to ruin your day.
#2. Toilet Paper
So the toilet paper is gone, what's your next move? Do you go magazine page, towel, hand? All three are not good choices, but you can't just go unwiped, right? There may not be a good answer to this dilemma except to stock up on extra toilet paper.
#1. Money
Money is definitely the most annoying thing to run out of. No food, gas, or any other necessity can be obtained without a little bit of cash. A lot of times running out of money is our own fault due to frivolous spending, but that doesn't make it much easier to deal with. Now you must resort to couch cushion fishing, bottle deposit returns, and begging friends to spare a couple of dollars.
