Top 10 Most Anticipated Scenes from New Moon

The second installment of the Twilight Series by Stephenie Meyer called New Moon will be in theaters November 20th. This highly anticipated movie featuring Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen, Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan, and Taylor Lautner as Jacob Black will take us places we only envisioned in our minds. For fans of the Twilight books , we will finally get to see the friendship between Bella and Jacob unfold along with Jacob's transformation into a wolf, the infamous Volturi, and the love triangle begin. Being a big Twilight fan myself, this is what I believe to be the most anticipated scenes from New Moon and can't wait to see on the big screen.

#1 Bella's Birthday Party
The Cullens throw a birthday party at their house for Bella. Bella gets a paper cut unwrapping a present that draws blood. Jasper goes after Bella, Edward pushes Bella into her gift table where she cuts her arm. Edward flings Jasper into a table smashing the glass underneath him. The Cullens have to restrain Jasper from Bella.

#2 The Breakup
Edward tells Bella in the woods that the Cullens are leaving town that it is time to go. Bella tells Edward that what happened with Jasper was nothing. Edward tells her he doesn't want her to go with them, he promises her that this will be the last time she ever sees him and that it will be as if he never existed. Edward tells Bella not to do anything wreckless or stupid, kisses her cheek she chases after him until she falls to the ground. Edward is gone.

#3 The Motorcycle
Bella at this point has become good friends with Jacob Black. They take two motorcycles out for a ride. During Bella's first attempt of riding a motorcycle she hears Edward's voice and has a minor tumble. She gets back up determined to hear his voice again and hears him tell her to stop she heads for trees not knowing how to stop the motorcycle. Bella slams on the breaks and flies through the air launching into a tree where she cuts her head that requires seven stitches. In the book by Stephenie Meyer Bella only hears his voice, in the movie we will see visions of Edward and hear him.

#4 Here Come The Wolves
Bella goes to the meadow , and is surprised by a visit by Laurent. Laurent tells her that he knows the Cullens are gone that they left her unprotected. He tells Bella I am here because of Victoria to find you. He also remarks that she smells absolutely mouthwatering and that Victoria will be mad at me for killing you. Out of nowhere come 5 wolves that chase Laurent out of the meadow.

#5 Bella's Revelation
Jacob starts to move further away from Bella and starts hanging around his new friends. Jacob tells her that he can't hang out with her anymore. Bella is crushed and doesn't understand. That night Jacob shows up at her house tapping on the outside of her window. Jacob apologizes to Bella. He tells her that he can't tell her what is going on but that she has already been told and that she just has to remember the story he told her about the Quilente legend.

After Jacob leaves Bella comes to the revelation that Jacob Black is a wolf, that Jacob saved her life that day in the meadow and it explains his huge physical appearance.

#6 The Wolves Fight
Bella confronts Jacob about being a werewolf and calls him a murderer. Hikers have been coming up dead by what the people of Forks believed to be a large bear. She warns him that her Father and other men are going out to hunt for the bear. Jacob tells her that they only kill vampires who hunt on their land, that they killed one which turned out to be Laurent that day in the meadow. Jacob explains that Laurent's spouse is now killing people this is when Bella realizes it is Victoria who has come to kill her. Jacob calls a meeting with his wolf clan and Paul gets upset that Bella is there. He tells Jacob that he won't protect her and morphs into a wolf. Jacob morphs into a wolf and stops Paul they fight wolf fangs and all. This is the first time Bella sees Jacob transform into a wolf before her eyes.

#7 Bella's Cliff Dive
Bella decides to go cliff diving without Jacob. Edward's voice tries to stop her. She plunges into the water not realizing how strong the currents are. She smashes into a couple of rocks and ends up unconscious. Jacob pulls her out and gives her cpr and saves her life. Bella almost drowned.

#8 Alice's Vision
In the meantime Harry Clearwater a friend of Bella's father Charlie passes away from a heart attack. When Jacob brings Bella home from her near fatal drowning incident she is surprised to find Alice in her living room. Alice tells Bella that she saw her jump from the cliff and only came to see if Charlie was alright not expecting to see Bella alive. Alice spends the night. Jacob checks up on Bella, the phone rings he tells the person on the other end of the phone that Charlie is at the funeral and says that Carlisle just hung up on him.

Alice has a vision about Edward. Tells Bella that Edward was told by Rosalie that she was dead. The phone call was from Edward not Carlisle and Jacob told him that Charlie was at a funeral. Edward thinks Bella is dead, from the phone call and hearing it from Rosalie that he goes to Italy to ask the Volturi to kill him. Alice and Bella leave for Italy to try and stop him.

#9 Vampire Suicide and the Volturi
After the Volturi tells Edward no they won't kill him he decides to go to extreme measures by revealing himself in the square in sunlight to onlookers of a festival. Bella finds Edward and lunges towards him preventing him from exposing himself just seconds before he does. Edward thinks he is dreaming and he is dead now. Bella convinces him they are both still alive as the Volturi guards intervene.

Alice shows up and they are taken to Aro.They torture Edward a bit and try to convince Edward, Alice and Bella to join the Volturi. They all say no. Aro makes the decision to spare all of their lives but tells Edward that Bella is a liability because she knows of their kind. Aro allows them to leave only after Alice shows Aro a premonition of Bella being turned into a vampire, and tells them they only have a short time to change her before they will come looking for a fight and to kill Bella themselves. Alice promises the Volturi that Bella will be turned.

#10 The Vote on Bella's Immortality & The Proposal
Bella demands a Cullen family meeting to decide on her immortality. Bella is upset about putting the Cullens in danger and wants to become a vampire now before the Volturi hurts anyone. She asks the Cullens do you want me to become a part of this family? She asks for votes with only Rosalie and Edward saying no. They convince Bella not to do it now but to wait. She gets Carlisle to promise to turn her after her high school graduation. Carlisle promises.

Bella wants Edward to turn her not Carlisle. Edward tells her that he will change her only under one condition if she will marry him. Edward proposes to her.
