1) Brett Favre - 317 interceptions
Favre is the career leader in interceptions by 40 so if he plays anymore he will only add to his lead. Favre holds a ton of career passing records because he has played so long and missed very little time due to injuries. Favre currently has 497 TD's.
2) George Blanda - 277
George Blanda played for 26 years in the NFL though he only started 104 games as a quarterback and the rest of the time he was a kicker. Blanda threw 46 more interceptions than he did touchdowns in his career but still managed a winning record as a QB (53-50-1).
3) John Hadl - 268
John Hadl played 17 years mostly for the San Diego Chargers and threw 24 more picks than TD's but also managed a winning record of 82-76-9 as a starter.
4) Vinny Testaverde - 267
Vinny Testaverde played for an incredible 21 years in the NFL and is in the top ten in both TD's and interceptions all time as he threw 275 TD's. Despite throwing more TD's than picks Testaverde has a lousy lifetime record of 90-123-1.
5) Fran Tarkenton - 266
Fran Tarkenton also makes both lists of TD's and picks but he threw for 76 more touchdowns than INT's and had a winning record of 124-109-6.
6) Norm Snead - 257
Norm Snead played 17 years in the NFL and threw 61 more picks than he did TD's and it showed in his won-lost record of 52-99-7.
7) Johnny Unitas - 253
Johnny Unitas threw for 37 more TD's in his career than INT's and had a superb record of 118-64-4 as a starting QB.
8) Dan Marino - 252
Marino threw for 168 more TD's than INT's and had a record of 147-93 as a starter but never won a Super Bowl.
9) Y.A. Tittle - 248
Y.A. Tittle threw 6 more interceptions than touchdowns in his career but still had a fine record as a starting QB (78-52-5) and is in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
10) Jim Hart - 247
Jim Hart was the longtime QB of the St. Louis Cardinals sometimes called the Cardiac Cards and despite throwing 38 more interceptions than TD's in his career he managed to post almost a .500 record as a starter (87-88-5).
