Top 10 Movies for a Rainy Day

Raining Outside? Watch One of These Movies

Nick Brown
Stuck inside - all day. Try these movies.

1) Heat - A movie with Al Pacino and Robert De Niro. A Bankrobbery - good guy, bad guy and the worlds best coffee shop scene caught on film.

2) Better off Dead - John Cusack and 97 minutes of laughter and pure 80's awesomeness.

3) The Usual Suspects - Has the best plot twist, even better thanThe Sixth Sense and Witness for the Prosecution.

4) Garden State - This is by far the best movie EVER to watch on a rainy day.

5) Pitch Black - If you haven't seen this movie, please rent it.

6) The Last Starfighter - If you're looking for a good 80's sci-fi movie other than a Star Wars movie - here it is.

7) Changing Lanes - Ben Affleck is in this one but don't let that bother you - he is actually pretty good in it and Sydney Pollack and Samuel L. Jackson more than makeup for it.

8) Antitrust - The set design, the plot and Tim Robbins makes me HAVE to put this one in this list.

9) A few Good Men - This one has Kevin Bacon, Tom Cruise, Kevin Pollak, Demi Moore, Kiefer Sutherland and the great Jack Nicholson. Need I say more?

10) The Paper - Ron Howard directed this and it stars Michael Keaton and Robert Duvall - Perfect.

Great list! I love a lot of these movies, especially "Heat," "The Usual Suspects," and "Better Off Dead." "Garden State" is another great one with Zack Braff making an astonishing directorial debut. I haven't seen "Antitrust," and I do need to watch all of "The Last Starfighter" at some point.
