Run DMC recorded "Christmas in Hollis" in 1987 for a compilation album called "A Very Special Christmas". The song has become more popular each year and was last charted on the billboard Hip Hop charts as late as 2000, some 13 years after it was released. The song was most remembered in the hit Bruce Willis action classic, "Die Hard".
