Top 10 Reality Show Couples

Heather Bernard
They are the couples we loved to watch. So many pairings and so many breakups make it difficult to really crown the top ten couples on reality show but these pairings are marked by their own unique styles. These select few have managed to make their mark on the reality world.

1. Rob and Amber (Survivor, Amazing Race, Rob and Amber get married, Rob and Amber against the odds) - Our love- hate relationship with this at times deceptive couple has caused many a fan to cheer their alleged breakups. They weren't the kindest couple in the world, but they proved that they were stronger combined than they ever where separately(both were voted out of survivor pretty early but made it to the finals together when they did Survivor all stars). These new parents have proven they have staying power and you can almost guarantee that their newest little addition will love the camera.

2. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar (18 kids and counting) - Arguably one of the sweetest couples on reality TV. It is pretty refreshing to not have a couple at each others throats by the third show. Yes, at times their relationship can be a little corny but you can tell that they have respect for each others feelings. The Duggars if nothing else do really feel like they have a genuine relationship.

3. Matt and Amy Roloff (Little People, Big World) - One of the most realistic couples on reality TV. The couple does at times fight and argue but also shows that they roll with the punches and have a sense of humor about things. The couple is one of the caring and compassionate couples on TV.

4. Trista and Ryan Sutter (Bachelor, Bachelorette, Dancing with the Stars) - They met on the bachlorette and have been together ever since. It seems like every step of their relationship has been broadcast on national television. They aren't ready to sign up for the 24/7 coverage of another reality TV show but seem content to show up on various reunion shows and magazine covers.

5. Spencer and Heidi Pratt (The hills, I'm a celebrity...Get me out of here) - Ahh, the newlyweds. Many have made some rather dire predictions for the couple and let me just say that the stats are not in their favor.

6. Jon and Kate (Jon and Kate plus 8) - One of the many cautionary tales against getting a reality show. This couple in the past year was one of the most painful and awkward to watch. You knew they were destructing, you could tell that there were a lot of harsh words going on behind closed doors but it was so darn hard to look away. It was like a car accident that you don't really want to look at but curiosity drives you to it.

7. Ozzy and Sharon-(The Osbournes) - One of the most fun couples on TV. This duo always had each others backs especially during the hard times. This couple has staying power and a deep love and concern for each other while at the same time showing their quirkiness.

8. New York and Taylor Made (Flavor of Love I and II, I love New York I and II, New York goes to Hollywood and New York Goes to Work) - It was a guilty pleasure to watch this couple and a the match was tailor-made. She was self-centered and flashy and so was he. It was no surprise that the relationship developed or eventually fizzled. Could there be a possibility of an I Love New York III in the near future?

9. Eric Stein and Jessica Hughbanks (Big Brother 8) - So many hookups and couples on big brother yet none was quiet so memorable and endearing as the relationship between Jessica and Eric. What we watched blossom in front of our eyes was fun and strangely enough made us feel like we played a part in it.

10. Adrianne Curry and Peter Knight (America's Next Top Model, The Surreal Life, My Fair Brady) - Who would ever guess that Peter Brady would do so many reality TV shows? This odd coupling has lasted far longer than one would expect and continues to astound us all.
