Now that the biggest holidays have passed, it is time to look to this years first big romantic holiday. Of course I speak of the one and only Valentines Day. Though Valentines Day is not for everyone, doing romantic things is something you can do year round almost anywhere in the world. Here is a look at those top 10 things to do.

Handing her/him a hot towel as they jump out of the shower or tub is number 10 on the list. While your loved one is in the shower or bath throw their towel in the dryer for a few minutes. When they get out of their shower or bath present them with a toasty towel. It is sweet, thoughtful and they will love it.

Everyone loves a massage, that is why it is number nine on the list. When our loved one comes home from work exhausted and perhaps temperamental give them a massage. You can use a therapeutic oil to massage their neck and back. You can add candles or dim the lights to create a more romantic experience.

Number eight is something that has been considered romantic since the dawn of time, breakfast in bed. On their day off get up early and prepare them their favorite breakfast just the way they like it then serve it to them in bed.

The next item on the list might not be as romantic for the man as the woman in your life. Romantic notes require little effort but can be very expressive. Write and leave notes in various places around your house.

Number six on the list is to order take out. When your one gets home have a romantic table complete with plates, napkins, and silverware in a romantic setting in your home. For example in front of the fire, or on the patio and add flowers and candles for an added touch of romance.

Number five, starting a fire is a tried and true romantic thing to do. Add a blanket, champagne, and pillows this will complete the setting for a romantic evening.

Packing a lunch for our loved one, perhaps this is something you do already, well this is an opportunity to be a little romantic, put a note or a flower with the lunch for an unusual surprise.

Showing them a little TLC, when they come home from work having been on their feet all day a warm foot bath is a great treat. For an added touch you might add a short foot massage after the bath.
