Associated Content producers have also had their on what seniors can do for one thing or others. All of us could benefit from some of the advice that seniors are receiving. Recently I took my library card and sent to the Associated Content library and checked out a few of the articles about seniors. There are many wonderful articles about seniors and all have great things that most all seniors could use in their daily life. In my search I had to limit my picks to the top 10 articles. Doing that is not going to be easy because there are so many more then ten that should have the spot light. So come along with me as I introduce you to the top 10 senior articles in the Associated Content library.
1. Gary Picariello shares with us his well informed advice about arthritis that so many seniors face on a daily bases. Gary points out some very simple methods on handling or even reducing the pain arthritis causes. For example he tells seniors that one of the best options to deal with the arthritis pain is Tylenol. You can read his article titled "New (Age) Methods of Beating Arthritis Pain right here in the senior section of Associated Content.
2. Dan Keen talks to us about making sure seniors are creating a personal information and asset document. Thou the topic of dying is sad and one that many of us with to avoid, it is also one that needs to be planned. Dan shares why it is important that we have all the information and assets documented and what needs to be included so our loved ones in the event we should die or we are in the incapacitated in the hospital. 3. Dr. David Leader DMD is a dentist that has taking the time to share with seniors and all people that use dentures some basic techniques on holding them in place. David gives us an easy to read and understand layman article that will allow most anyone with dentures to apply what he shares. Check out David's article, "Tighten Loose Dentures"
4. Donna Porter gives seniors some basic information that all seniors need for internet security in a plain spoken manner. Donna takes the tech out of understanding computer security for seniors and explains it in a way that most all seniors will understand. This is a must read for those novice computer using seniors. Checkout Donna's article, "Internet Security That Grandma Can Understand."
5. Christine Cadena explains the importance of life insurance for seniors and others. Christine explains the different types of life insurance and gives some basic advice on how seniors can pick the right one of them. Look for Christine's article, "Life Insurance: Term, Whole, Universal" and get the facts.
6. Jennifer tells seniors about senior living arrangements. She gives seniors some wonderful advice about where to live and why moving out and moving on may be better then staying put. Check out Jennifer's "Senior Housing: What are Your Options" article.
7. Catherine Neal point seniors not quite ready to fully retire in the right direction with her list of possible jobs. Seniors will get plenty of ideas from Catherine on where they may be able to return to work and keep that busy life style they are so use to. Check out "Top Ten Retail Jobs for Seniors," by Catherine Neal.
8. Lenore Danesco helps seniors looking to invest some of their hard earned money by sharing some wonderful tips. If you're a senior and looking to invest this is a must read before you head off to the broker. You can find Lenore's article in the library under, "Investment Tips for Seniors."
9. Lenore Danesco again has some more wonderful advice for seniors. This time around its "Senior tips for Spending the Weekend Alone". Lenore explores 10 possible ideas that any senior might try one those lonely weekends. Checkout "Senior Tips for Spending the Weekend Alone" by Lenore Danesco.
10. Lenore Danesco one again gives seniors some great advice that I feel even I will have to look at closer. Lenore's Article, "Senior Tips on Unique Trips: Getting Away from Usual Getaways" is loaded with trip ideas and tips.
I hope this list for senior helps you or the senior in your life. I know my family has gained some helpful insight on senior living.

Post a CommentI've had arthritis and rheumatism since I was a teenager. I'm not looking forward to being an elderly, as I have enough of the aches and pains as it is, LOL. I will have to read that article though, thank you.
Thanks for all the information and taking the time to investigate the articles to pick the top 10. Not so nice to see what I have to look forward to as far as aches and pains, but nice to see things I can do to help the situations. I sure hope I can remember them when the time comes.
