Top 10 Songs by Bryan Adams

Bryan Adams is a Canadian Rock/Pop singer/songwriter. Adams is also a photographer and has published books of famous women to support Breast Cancer. Adams has recorded duets with some of the greatest singers. His duets have included the likes of Tina Turner, Mel C, Barbara Streisand, Celine Dion and Bonnie Raitt.

16 Albums and counting this is one musician that is going to be around for the long haul. Bryan Adams is one of the few Canadian artists that have made it as a highly successful musician in Canada, the United States and Europe.

Growing up in Canada, Adams was number one in the eighties and he has proven that he has stamina and knows what he is doing.

Diana - This song was originally written as a comedic representation to Princess Diana and Prince Charles wedding. It was rumored that Adams had a crush on the princess.

Can't stop this thing we started - This song came out in 1991 and peaked at number one in Canada and number 2 in the United States. The video for this song portrays a younger hipper looking Adams keeping up the times.

Cuts like a knife. The song being one of his earliest was a Na-Na song. The song actually was the title of the third released Album in 1983.

Run to you - Certified Gold in 1985 and another chart topping hit song of the Reckless album. The reckless album had a total of six top 30 songs all in all.

Summer of '69 - This was a song that you blasted your Geto Blaster to in the 80's. The song appeared on the Reckless album and has made it to every one of Adams compilation albums every since.

Everything I do, I do it for you. - Everyone remembers this song from the Robin Hood movie. It was the theme song. Strangely enough the film producers did not like the song that was co-written with Mutt Lange. The song was left for the end of the movie. This is one of the biggest chart topping songs for Adam.

Somebody - This song reminds of another song by Bryan Adams "This Time" the melody at the beginning of both songs are very similar. I always wondered if he was aware of this or was this deliberate. This song was released on the Reckless Album as well.

Heaven - Back in the day of high school dances there was never a dance in the eighties in Canada at least that you were not landlocked to your favorite guy for one of the last slow songs of the night. This is the song you dreamed about and thought you would play at your wedding someday. The song originally came out in 1983 but did not make it to number one until June 1985. The song was co-written with Jim Valance.

When you're Gone - This song was recorded with Mel C. of the former Spice Girls. One wonders how Adams meets up with a constant array of diverse performers. Adams showed by recording this song he can transpose any generation and still keep the hits coming.

Its only love - Bryan and Tina Turner teamed up for this duet in the mid eighties. Combining two raspy voices actually made this song work.

Lonely Nights - The memories this song brings back - From the Album "You want it - You Got it" Baby I just can't stand another lonely night, I really think this was the song that put Adams on the map. It came out in 1981 and I have been listening to it ever since. I think this song would of been more popular if it was on one of his later albums. The distinct vocals of Adams made you stand up and remember him after hearing this song, I ran out and bought the Album.

All in all Adams has had over 20 hit singles and still counting.
