DoggyStyle, the debut album from Snoop Doggy Dogg, spawned many hits from the phenomenal rapper. Released in 1993, the album featured hits such as Gin and Juice, Lodi Dodi, Murder was the Case, and Who Am I? (What's My Name?), and Doggy Dogg World. Gin and Juice paid homage to Seagram's Gin and Juice. The song was about a wild house party featuring the popular drink. Lodi Dodi, which was a remake from the original song performed by Doug E. Fresh and Slick Rick in the 80's, was a hit for Snoop Doggy Dogg on his debut album. Murder was the Case was released during the trial for Snoop Doggy Dogg in 1994. The single featured a live performance on the MTV Music Awards in 1994. The next hit, Who Am I?(What's my Name?), featured interpolations from George Clinton's Atomic Dog which was released in 1982. The final hit from the debut album, Doggy Dogg World, featured performances from Kurupt and Daz Dillinger, and features the legendary 70's funk band The Dramatics. This song would go on to win an MTV Music Award in 1994.

Snoop Doggy Dogg would go on to gain much respect in the music industry, for his success and fame. Several years later, after leaving Death Row Records and No Limit Records, Snoop would go on to release many albums which featured many popular musical artists. Paid tha Cost to be Da Bo$$, which was released in 2002, featured the hit single Beautiful, which featured Pharrell Williams and The Gap Band's Charlie Wilson.This song was released in 2003, as a single and featured catchy lyrics and was a soothing song for the rapper. Another hit single from this album was called From tha Chuuuch to da Palace, which was produced by the Neptunes' Pharrell Williams. This song was a heavy hitter for the famous rapper. .

R&G (Rhythm and Gangsta), released in 2004, featured several hits for Snoop Doggy Dogg. These hits included Drop it Like it's Hot and Signs. Drop it Like it's Hot was a 2004 hit single, for the rapper, and featured Pharrell. The song was a dance song and even became a number one hit on the Billboard charts. Signs was another single off of Rhythm and Gangsta, and featured pop/r&b singer Justin Timberlake and the Gap Bands' Charlie Wilson. This song was also produced by Pharrell and was another Billboard hit for Snoop Doggy Dogg.

Released in 2008, the album Ego Trippin' featured hits including Sexual Eruption. Sexual Eruption was produced by Atlanta-based songwriter Shawty Redd. This song features a retro-inspired song by the legendary rapper. This song features Snoop Doggy Dogg singing catchy lyrics, and a retro-styled beat.
