LC
Time to celebrate the spookiest holiday of the year, Halloween! Do you have your music play list ready? Whether your having a little get together, or setting up a scary haunted house. You can add a touch of BOO with these all time favorite Halloween tunes below. They are absolutely Spook-Tackulous!

1. Dueling Banjos: From The Original Soundtrack: Deliverance. This song will immediately take you back to the movie that had people on the edge of their seats.

2. Ghostbusters: Written and performed by Ray Parker, Jr. This song is immediately known for its ghostly connections and will have you saying, "I ain't afraid of no ghost."

3. Bad Moon Rising: Performed by Creedence Clearwater Revival, also known as CCR. Written by John Fogerty. This song will definitely have you thinking twice before running around on Halloween night. Its guaranteed to send chills up and down even a skeletons' spine.

4. Monster Mash: By Bobby "Boris" Pickett. This song has everything Halloween is about. Monsters, mad scientists, early coffin sounds and a very catchy tune. It will definitely add fun to any sitting.

5. I Put a Spell on You: Written by Screamin' Jay Hawkins. This song made my top ten simply by being banned by some radio stations and stores for having cannibalistic sounds. That alone makes it freaky enough for Halloween.

6. Halloween: The theme song to the first three series that spotlight Michael Myers, is definitely sounds of sheer terror. What else would you need to get people on edge.

7. Psycho: The theme song to the movie by Alfred Hitchcock. Hearing this music reminds me of the psychotic killer in the movie. And I am not going to be taking a shower anytime soon. lol.

8. Hamburger Lady: By Throbbing Gristle. This is one of those songs that slowly creep up on you. Just like the goblins on Halloween night.

9. The Devil Went Down to Georgia: By the Charlie Daniels Band. Anyone who makes a deal with the Devil is dealing with demons. What a great song for the night of the spirits.

10: Twilight Zone: The intro to the movie. This is an instantaneous recognition of the unknown. And the unknown is something that all of mankind fears in someway. This song scared me as a child and still scares me as an adult.

I can certainly remember most of these songs. I think the one that does it the most for me is the Psycho theme - can't help but get a chill down the spine when that one is played. Now, as for Dueling Banjos, I can't seem to keep from getting a visual of ol' Green Teeth - and then I don't get so much scared, as grossed out - lol.
