Top 10 Star Wars Games Ever

GFCosmo
10 REPUBLIC COMMANDO
There was nothing overly amazing about the game play or features which set this game apart from other first person shooters, other than the fact you got to lead an elite squad of Republic Commando's (isn't that a dream come true?) and spray droids and flying bugs with your deadly laser fire.

9 X-WING
Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time it was my dream to pilot an X-Wing and take out the Death Star myself.

8 SHADOWS OF THE EMPIRE
Very few of the hundreds of Star Wars books have claimed as much attention as Shadows of the Empire. And I can't think of any that got their own video game. The only person to ever come close to Han Solo's coolness factor was Dash Rendar, and with this game I got to fly his ship!

7 TIE FIGHTER
Sure, the X-Wing was the good guys, and we all know that they win, but heck lets face it, nothing was more bad ass than a tie fighter. The game play was an improvement over the already smooth X-Wing and just as fun.

6 ROGUE SQUADRON
I threw this one in at number six because I generally just enjoyed this game. There was enough stuff to unlock to keep me busy for a while, flying the assortment of ships was always fun, and because I had the PC version (I don't know if this was available for the Nintendo 64) but flying that Naboo Star fighter was beyond amazing.

5 LEG STAR WARS: THE COMPLETE SAGA
Bringing in my top five is the fun loving Lego Star Wars. I don't know about anyone else, but growing up I always thought "you know, I wish they made Star Wars Lego's" because building a Millennium Falcon out of my castle set just never worked. And with this game, well it's nice to have a game that you don't get frustrated at. After all, you can't even die!

4 BATTLEFRONT
A Star Wars fan's dream. Playing any side of several great battles and taking over planets. Who could ask for more? Well, maybe play as a Jedi? That's coming up.

3 JEDI KNIGHT: DARK FORCES II
One of my all time favorite games, I still remember receiving a demo for it in the mail. I was instantly hooked. And the fact that my actions determined whether I would become a good or bad jedi made it that much better. Despite my love of striking down helpless droids and pedestrians, I had to stay 'pure of heart' because I just couldn't beat the game as a dark jedi.

2 BATTLE FRONT II
If the first one wasn't good enough, now I could not only play as Jango Fett or Darth Maul, but I could pilot my battle ship inside the cargo hold of my enemies and wage war from within their own star cruiser. The only reason this game wasn't number one was because I just wasn't a fan of the storyline game play. Either way, I'm looking forward to another hopefully) Battle Front (one that's not exclusively released on a hand held gaming system).

1 DARK FORCES
I had to go with the classic. One of the greatest first person shooters ever created. It had a solid story line with characters you actually liked. Playing Kyle Katarn as another Han Solo type was sweet, not to mention gunning down Boba Fett and the infamous Dark Trooper. I still like to drop it in the old computer drive and take a stroll down memory lane.

    2. Battlefront 2
yay clones yay jango yay boba. + an interesting 501st viewpoint.
    3. Bounty Hunter
its about jango, and theres not many things out there about the bounty hunters gamewise.
    4. Lego SW 2
come on, its both cute AND fun, and it gives you billions of characters.
    5. Battlefront
finially, you can shoot stuff in SW. plus theres clones.
    6. KOTOR 1
good story and new twist on star wars-ness.
    7. KOTOR 2
very fun, didnt like character interaction as much as the first one, though.
    8. Jedi Academy.
ehhhhh. idk. fun, good missions, and of course i love character designing. they had a bit of a good plot, but it could have had more action
    9. Force Unleashed
tolerable, but its warping star wars in my fangirly opinion. the idea of evil ani having a secret apprentice is too . . . not-sithy. and galen marek isnt too great. and i hate juno.
    10. Force Unleashed
