Top 10 Things About Being a Mom of Twins

10. Getting to shop for two sets of outfits. I love to shop for baby clothes and since I have a boy/girl twins I get to have twice as much fun. Enter the girl twin section then turn and go into the boy twin section. Shop! Shop! Shop! 9. Twins are instant celebrities. Whenever we go in public we are instantly celebrities. So that makes me a celebrity mom. I proudly push our double stroller through crowded areas while people ooh and ahh over my cute little twins. 8. There is never a dull moment. With two babies to run behind, as a mom of twin I can't remember the last time that I was bored. 7. Freebies! Twins usually get a number of freebie items on their birthdays from various companies. Gotta love those birthday freebies! 6. I have gotten really good at multi-tasking. With my twins I have learned to do tasks twice without even thinking about it. Change one diaper. Change another diaper. Nurse one baby. Nurse another baby. Rinse and repeat. 5. Laughing to myself when people ask me if my boy/girl twins are identical. Identical twins means that they both have to be the same sex peoples! I think a lot of people were drifting in science class on that day. 4. I get to dress them alike. Even though I have fraternal boy/girl twins I love the fact that I can dress them alike by putting them in the same colors. My boy/girl twins wear reds, yellows, greens, blacks, and other gender neutral colors and look ultra cute. 3. I'm getting toned. Carrying around two babies at once all of the time is really helping me to tone my biceps. Not to mention the burn that I feel in my calves every time I carry them up and down, and up and down, and up and down the stairs. 2. Watching them bond. There is something special about the sibling bond that exists between twins and it is so amazing to watch their connection. If you ever get a chance to watch twins together you will notice that their bond is just indescribable. Hey, watching my twins kind of makes me wish I had one! 1. It's not double the trouble - it's double the love. There is nothing better than getting kisses and hugs from two baby twins or walking into a room with two baby twins screaming and squealing with excitement because they want to see you. I love being a mom of twins and I feel like they are one of my biggest blessing that I have gotten in life! If you're about to have twins I hope that my top 10 list inspires you.
