1. Don't Eat Out Too Much - Eating too much can make you feel bloated, fat, and large. It can also ruin a good trip. Eating too much can make you have to stay in the hotel when you should be out having a good time. Remember, do everything in moderation.

2. Bring All Medications With - There is nothing worse than forgetting your medications for a much needed vacation. A simple way to avoid this is to just refill all of your prescriptions before your trip and make a checklist when packing to keep from forgetting your medications.

3. Go To The Doctor Beforehand - In case you are heading to a different climate than you are accustomed to, head to to the doctor before you leave. There can be many risks in going to a different environment, so it is easiest to just take some precaution and make sure you are safe by paying the doctor a quick visit.

4. Don't Travel At Night - The stereotypical senior cannot stay up too late in the night. So the majority of seniors should probably travel during the daylight. The senior citizens should also travel during the day to maximize the amount of vacation time, because nobody wants to sit in the airport all day!

5. Do Not Wear Expensive Jewelry - Expensive jewelry is the easiest tell for thieves to know that you are carrying a lot of money on you. And the fact that seniors are the easiest victim of getting robbed, it is probably best to not show any signs of owning expensive items while on vacation.

6. Vaccinations - There are many different sicknesses out there in this world. When travelling out of the country or even cross country, it is essential to get all necessary vaccinations before leaving on a trip.

7. Take Climate Into Account - This also has a lot to do with sicknesses. Climate change can do quite a lot to your body, so make sure you know what you are getting into before you leave on your trip. If you don't there could be some difficulties with your body.

8. Bring Extra Glasses - In case you lose your glasses is why you should bring an extra pair! There is nothing worse than breaking or losing a pair of glasses and not being able to read or even see anything. (This is from personal experience by the way!)

9. Keep Up On Exercise - Just like any other day, you should keep your exercise to your regular habits. A vacation is no exception. Especially when you are getting older, it is important to keep an exercise regimen up.

10. Drink Bottled Water - On any vacation, the water will probably taste different than what you are accustomed to. Sometimes, the water will actually be of a bad quality. This is why it is easier to just drink some bottled water instead of just hoping the water isn't too bad.
