Top 10 TV Christmas Episodes or Specials

Season's Greetings

Shelly
With the weather growing chill and the weeks of the holidays drawing near I have compiled a list of my family and my favorite Christmas Specials:

1. A Charlie Brown Christmas (1965)
This is amongst my kids and my favorite
Christmas specials thanks to Charlie Brown's
infamous tree being short I have a four foot
tree and my kids make sure they remind me
that I have a Charlie Brown Christmas tree
too!

2. How The Grinch Stole Christmas (1966)
The Grinch's dog Max with the reindeer
antlers is priceless, especially when Max
is suppose to be pulling the sleigh and
somehow finds himself seated next to the
Grinch on the sleigh.

3. The Simpsons Roasting On An Open Fire (1989)
The one that started it all! Homer Simpson
known by all as a baboon faces one of his
direst moments with Christmas approaching
and no Christmas bonus, no Christmas tree
and his sister-in-laws mocking his every
move Homer best soon start making a last
minute wish to Santa!

4. I Want A Dog For Christmas Charlie Brown (2003)
Snoopy's brother Spike turns out to be a
match Rerun never bargained for, watch what
you wish for, you may just get it!

5. Shrek The Halls (2007)
Our favorite ogre helps us ring in the
holidays with his adopted family all dressed
in mayhem.

6. Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer (2000)
Patsy & Elmo's smash hit holiday classic
comes home with holiday guests even more
greedy than Ebenezer Scrooge himself.

7. Mickey's Once Upon A Christmas (1999)
Disney's tales of giving through three
timeless stories, no matter the rhyme or
reason 'tis better to give than to receive.

8. Santa Claus Is Coming To Town (1970)
The best summary for young and old, awaiting
the hooves on the roof from the reindeer and
watching the sky for Santa's arrival, on
ongoing tradition for my kids and I
alongside leaving cookies and milk out for
St. Nicholaus.

9. Frosty The Snowman (1969)
To believe in magic and all of wonderful
winter wonders, Frosty brings to life a time
of hope and virtue for all.

10. The Muppets Christmas Carol (1992)
Unlike any adaption of Charles Dickens
classic this Christmas Carol will bring
tears to your eyes with sheer laughter!

No matter where you find yourself this holiday season may this be a safe, happy and memorable one for you and yours.
