1. World in Conflict http://youtube.com/watch?v=Uq0tXBs0PWE
This is one of the best PC games trailers I've seen for 2007. It features a live footage on men battling with each other. The game play focuses at present times where the cold war is still lingering around us. World in Conflict gets the number one spot because I've not seen any live acting footage for quite some time now - since Command and Conquer originally released more than 10 years ago. I was fascinated by Command and Conquer because my 486DX2-66 could play movies smoothly without the aid of a video accelerator card - pretty magnificent 10 years ago.
If you enjoy a war movie - you should definitely see this video clip. It has some intense war scenes that you should never miss.
2. Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars http://youtube.com/watch?v=ogsds0zfKvM
As I've already mentioned about C&C above, they are actually releasing the next C&C title into the market on 2007. I love strategy games and C&C gave me my first taste in real-time strategy games. The video depicts how Earth is consumed and contaminated by Tiberium. Your task as GDI is supposed to protect safe areas from the opposing forces. You can catch a glimpse of the vehicles that you can actually use in-game and the video also shows actual battle going on. This is definitely a video clip that should be in the list.
3. Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles Trailer http://youtube.com/watch?v=bTuIUCZMtLs
The Elder Scrolls epic started long time ago. I didn't like any of the earlier versions. Their recent release, Shivering Isles changes everything. Although the game play is pretty similar, somehow the game engine has revolutionized. When you watch the trailer, you can catch a glimpse on the actual graphics in the game. I particularly like the classic hack-and-slash style and I always have a spot for such a game. That includes Titan Quest, Arcanum and many more.
4. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl http://youtube.com/watch?v=bjD03nXh5Po
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is a first person shooter PC game. The introduction of this movie clip shows real life footages of what happened in Chernobyl. This video clip definitely deserves a place in the list because I'm a huge fan of war games and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. has everything in it that attracts me.
5. The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar http://youtube.com/watch?v=GX74t5A8Yx8
The Lord of the Rings movie trilogy captured fans all over the world. The online game version would be released pretty soon into the market. Of course the movie features the struggle in middle Earth between the all evil forces of Sauron. I've enjoyed the entire Lord of the Rings movie and I felt that this movie clip should have a place in the top ten list.
6. Halo 2 http://youtube.com/watch?v=miVJWwXXbxM
Halo took the world by storm! Now that Halo 2 is pending to be released on May 2007, you might want to catch a glimpse on their video trailer. Halo was one of the best games that I've played. It's designed for the PlayStation 2 but the PC version came out later. You should definitely watch this video clip in YouTube.
7. Privateer 2: The Darkening http://youtube.com/watch?v=gP9LVXvRrT0
Privateer 2 was released ages ago. I got to know this game through my brother who brought home the first Privateer. I love this space shooting game where you can upgrade your ship and weapons. The storyline is simply magnificent. The video features actual footage of people acting in the movies. The first clip shows a space craft which was attacked by unknown spaceships and crash landed on a planet. You can watch the second part of the clip here.
Part 2: http://youtube.com/watch?v=Phn7ssXintM
8. TimeShift http://youtube.com/watch?v=FuIIHmUHb8k
TimeShift is another sci-fi First Person Shooter game. This video definitely should be in the list because it shows you actual footage of the game. You will notice that the game is beautifully designed and it gives you the feel of a well designed game.
9. Serious Sam http://youtube.com/watch?v=IgUumTJfLtQ
How can anyone forget about Serious Sam? Serious Sam was another one of the best First Person Shooter game released into the market. The game is packed with adventure and thrill. You will get the rough idea once you view the video clip.
10. Transformers The Game http://youtube.com/watch?v=co0jR39V4v4
Steven Spielberg has performed another magic in the cinemas - Transformers The Movie. Transformers The Game deserves a place in the list because since young I love to watch Transformers on TV. Now that they have designed the game, you should definitely give it a try. The video shows footage of the game itself, but don't be amazed by the graphics - it looks kind of rubbery to me. For that they are placed at number ten on the list.
I hope you enjoy these video clips.
