Rolling Stone's top 10 worst songs of the 80's list was recently released. Many of these 80's songs are without a doubt some of the worst music of the decade, but a few of the tunes are debatable, according to ABC News.

The top Worst Songs of the 80's:

1. Starship - "We Built This City" (On Rock and Roll)
2. Europe - "The Final Countdown"
3. Chris de Burgh - "The Lady in Red
4. Wham! - "Wake Me Up (Before You Go Go)"
5. Men Without Hats - "The Safety Dance"
6. Falco - "Rock Me Amadeus"
7. Bobby McFerrin - "Don't Worry Be Happy"
8. Toni Basil - "Mickey"
9. Taco - "Puttin' On the Ritz"
10. Rick Astley - "Never Gonna Give You Up"

Rolling Stone readers voted in the top 10 worst songs of the 80's and the vote for the number one song was by a landslide. This is a decade of the big "MTV" hair, leg warmers, gigantic padded shoulders for ladies shirts and jackes and ankle socks with high heels.

The Starship's "We Built this City" came out on top by a huge margine, as this seems to be one song that the masses did not like!

The band Jefferson Airplane, was a popular rock group of the 60's and when they're attempts to reinvent themselves as Jefferson Starship failed, for their origninal fans.
