Top 10 Worst Things About Family Vacations

When we go on vacation there are some issues at times. Problems arise and steps backwards can happen. For me there are ten worst things that can happen or do happen on a vacation.

1. Long Drive

A long drive to enjoy a vacation can be the worst! Having to pee with no bathrooms for the next 20 miles is not fun. Multiple children on your long drive can be quit stressful. To enjoy a vacation, a trip that consist of less then a three hour drive is most convenient.

2. Flat Tire

Getting a flat on your drive can be such a problem. Not only taking time from that vacation, but having to sit there for an hour is really annoying. It can be one of the worst for the driving lengths of your vacation.

3. Taking the Wrong Turn

Nothing can be more annoying than taking a wrong turn. This can cut so much time of the fun, relaxing part of your trip! Also causing arguments with the spouse. Not a great way to enjoy your planned vacation!

4. Being Sick

What a horrible thing to find out the morning of your vacation, your sick. It can be such a downer. You will go anyway because you have been planning it for months, even though you feel the worst!

5. Bad Weather

Planning a nice warm sunny vacation? Oh wait, rain! There goes the sunny and warm vacation. This can be one of the worst. When you have packed for warm weather, a trip to the beach or camping.

6. Forgetting the Camera

I love to capture every moment of my family vacations. When I forget my nice digital camera, it is one of the worst things for my vacation. I really do not prefer those disposable ones. So much better to see what pictures your taking and have nice clarity. Not come home to find out half were ruined!

7. The Wrong Accommodations

So when you reach your destination for your planned vacation and you come to find out that the good deal, room accommodations were misunderstood. You really didn't get that nice big room with two beds at a decent price, but that one bedded room that is tiny! Not a fun experience, especially for the money tight planned trips!

8. Forgot the Sunblock

I am a fair person, who tends to burn in the sun. So, forgetting that sunblock can be not so fun. I would rather spend the time on my vacation having fun. Not left in the room with burns that make it where I cannot move.

9. Too Many People

Arriving to find out that the trip you planned is not the quiet one you wanted.Is a real problem. I like to have vacations with little people around. Its quiet, relaxing, and your kids wont get mixed up in the crowd.

10. No Snacks

It is no fun to be driving, looking at shops, or doing activities without snacks. Kids love to eat, snacks are great to have on hand at all times. Having to spend extra money on snacks on your vacation can really take from your fun money. Its one of the worst things on a vacation.
