Top 10 New Year's Parades in the World - Each year on New Year's Day marching bands, people in costumes and floats can be seen in the many New Year parades around the world. The New Year parades take a huge amount of work, time and practice to come together for a few hours on this magical first day of the new year.

The Rose Parade.

The first place and best parade has to go to the Rose Parade in Pasadena California. Every year this parade is sold out and people flock to Pasadena from near and far to see the amazing floats, marching bands from all around the world and the Rose Queen.

The Chinese New Year Parade.

The Chinese New Year Parade takes place ever years since 1958 in San Francisco California. This parade is meant as a mean to educate people about the Asian culture. Lions, firecrackers, exploding floats and extravagant costumes can be found in this parade.

New Year's Day Parade.

The New Year's Day Parade takes place in London, England and is considered one of the biggest parades in the world with more than 10,000 performers. The parade goes through the streets of West End, London. The parade is used to collect funds for London charities.
