The first place and best parade has to go to the Rose Parade in Pasadena California. Every year this parade is sold out and people flock to Pasadena from near and far to see the amazing floats, marching bands from all around the world and the Rose Queen.
The Chinese New Year Parade.
The Chinese New Year Parade takes place ever years since 1958 in San Francisco California. This parade is meant as a mean to educate people about the Asian culture. Lions, firecrackers, exploding floats and extravagant costumes can be found in this parade.
New Year's Day Parade.
The New Year's Day Parade takes place in London, England and is considered one of the biggest parades in the world with more than 10,000 performers. The parade goes through the streets of West End, London. The parade is used to collect funds for London charities.
New Year's Parade in Paris.
The New Year's Parade in Paris is a two-day festival with thousands of street performers, actors and musicians. This huge crowd marches through Chantilly to Trocadero on the first day and under the Eiffel tower on the second.
Three Kings Day Parade.
The Three Kings Day Parade takes place on the 6 of January in New York. A celebration that goes through the streets of Spanish Harlem and is filled with camels, donkeys, children and men dressed as kings. This parade is very festive and celebrates the Latin- American Lifestyle.
Rome New Year's Parade.
The Rome New Year's Parade walks along the grand Via della Conciliazione and ends at St. Peters Square where people wait for the Popes New Year's Day blessing.
Mummers Parade.
The Mummers Parade takes place in Philadelphia and is a daylong event with more than 15,000 performers including clowns, dancers and musicians. Spectators can view the parade for free on Broad Street.
The Lord Mayor's New Year's Day Parade.
The Lord Mayor's Parade Takes place in Dublin and starts out on Parnell Street and goes up O'Connell Street where the bands will stop and perform for the Lord Mayor.
The Orlando Citrus Parade.
This great parade was first introduced in 1980 and is a welcome to the teams who will be playing at the Florida Citrus Bowl.
Junkanoo.
Junkanoo is celebrated in the Bahamas 2 or 3 hours before the sunrise on New Year's Day. People wear extravagant headdresses and costumes, while they dance along in a parade style.
