10. Invest in the future: Buy next year's Christmas Decor and gifts on sale today.
9. Learn more: Learn to cook, garden, or do crafts that sell.
8. Start a diet: Only buy food you can actually afford without credit.
7. Befriend a redneck. Rednecks never go hungry and sure know how to survive an economic crisis.
6. Dance More: It keeps you warmer and is cheaper than a gym membership.
5. Be a conservationist: Share showers. Sleep in the same room and turn down the heat.
4. Be more daring: Dare to buy the marked down food at the grocer and try to consume or freeze it by the sell-by date.
3. Be more creative: Find more recipes that use rice or beans, a great nutritional filler.
2. Say no to Plastic Water Bottles: Water filters are cheaper and don't require all the extra trash.
1. Be More Outdoorsy: In other words, do free activities outside instead of those that cost money.
