Located in southwest Wisconsin near the city of Prairie du Chien, Wyalusing State Park is situated along the Wisconsin and Mississippi Rivers in the small town of Bagley. Consisting of nearly 2,700 acres, Wyalusing State Park offers numerous activities and plenty of beautiful sightseeing for its visitors.
Wyalusing State Park is mostly a hands on sightseeing destination in Wisconsin, as the only real way to witness the surrounding sights is if you get out, walk around, and explore the area for yourself. The best sightseeing comes from either heading out on the hiking trails or taking the canoe trail. Wyalusing State Park offers just over 22 miles of hiking trails, 7 miles of biking trails, and just under a mile of a handicap accessible trail. One of the most spectacular sightseeing views that Wyalusing State Park offers can be seen from Point Lookout, as this hiking destination offers magnificent views overlooking the Wisconsin and Mississippi Rivers about 500 feet below. Another trail called the Old Immigrant Trail, is an easy hiking trail and lasts about an hour. As for the canoe trail, the park does offer canoe rentals if you don't bring your own.
Another great sightseeing opportunity as Wyalusing State Park is from their campground area, as numerous campsites offer beautiful scenic views overlooking the surrounding landscape as well as views of the Wisconsin and Mississippi Rivers.

Wisconsin's Great River Road is a scenic drive and nationally recognized sightseeing destination in western Wisconsin. The Great River Road is known as Wisconsin Highway 35, and it follows the Mississippi River from the Wisconsin towns of Kieler to Prescott for about 250 miles along Wisconsin's western boarder. This Great River Road in Wisconsin is part of the Great River Road National Scenic Byway, and it has been voted as one of America's 10 Most Scenic Drives.
Throughout this scenic drive you will witness gorgeous views of the Mississippi River, limestone bluffs and steep valleys offering beautiful tree colors during the fall months.

The Ice Age National Scenic Trail in Wisconsin is a footpath that winds through the entire state of Wisconsin, from Door County all the way to the Wisconsin-Minnesota border. Consisting of over 1,000 miles, the Ice Age Trail can be accessed from numerous locations throughout Wisconsin, including various Wisconsin State Parks.
The most appropriate and popular activities for the Ice Age Trail include hiking, backpacking, walking, and snowshoeing. Biking and cross country skiing are allowed on specified locations along the trail as well.

Perrot State Park is located in the western portion of Wisconsin, just 20 miles from the city of La Crosse. For hiking enthusiasts, hiking to the top of Brady's Bluff is a must. Brady's Bluff is a 500 foot bluff that overlooks the Mississippi River valley and the Trempealeau Mountain. All in all, Perrot State Park offers just over 12 miles of hiking trails, and the park also offers direct access to the Great River State Trail.
