Top 17 Semifinalists Announced on Paula Abdul's 'Live to Dance'

Wednesday night on CBS' "Live To Dance," Paula Abdul and her judging team had their work cut out for them as they whittled through tape after tape of dance acts to decide which 18 dancers or teams deserved to move on to the semifinals.

Abdul and dance choreographers Kimberly Wyatt and Travis Payne agreed on most of the acts- some were a no-brainer, like 9 year old break dancer, Jaden- but on a few there was some head buttin' going on.

While they agreed on 16 of the acts, four were in limbo.

The solution? A dance off between the final 4 acts. The judges would choose one of the acts and the other semifinalist would be determined by viewer vote. Sounds good to me!

The dance off was between the following acts:

Theatrix- An all-boy ensemble

White Tree Fine Art- A husband a wife modern ballet duo

Inside the Box- A huge group ensemble. Fans of "Looney Tunes" music.

Kendall Glover- an 11 year old dancer

All 4 dance acts had only one day to come up with a fresh routine, so the pressure was on.

In the end, the judges chose Kendall Glover. The viewer vote will decide between Theatrix, White Tree Fine Art and Inside the Box.

The 18^th semifinalist will be announced next week on the first live episode of "Live To Dance," and then the Top 18 will compete for the grand prize of $500,000.
