Top 25 College Quarterbacks - Midway 2009

Lee Davis
The Bleacher Report released its current college quarterback rankings. Having guided their teams to mid-season, college football's elite have positioned themselves to gain the popularity polls until season's end. Each week they perform on meticulously manicured lawns of glories past and present atop painted school spirit insignias. If your season is not going well, your emblem of school spirit is taking a walloping as winners help with your sod redistribution. Most painful are those removing patches of your center field icon to place in their sod cemeteries.

Judged on personal record, passing, completions, rushing (running), total yards, points scored and style points, the candidates vie for top position. According to the 100 yard measuring scale (field length), the quarterbacks can move up or down in rankings, dependent upon execution quality and last game statistics. Everyone has favorites.

Not much surprise at who is a top the polls. With concussion, fifteen broken toes, eighty-one injured ribs , and one broken fingernail, superman brings all to Florida Field. Mentioning only for clarification, Tim Tebow's eyes in the back of his head were never damaged nor the eyes on the sides of his head.

Here is the remainder of college's top 25 quarterbacks - mid-season 2009.

I would put Ponder in the top 10 if not 5 after what I saw him do to my Heels.

    B. wood: I know Ponder is not getting his just dues, but much is "going on" in Seminole Country. Unfortunately, the negatives have an impact on the positives. We won last night and came from behind. Thanks for the comment, and I know Christian appreciates your voice. GO NOLES!!
