Top 3 Books You'd like to See Turned into a Movie

Theater Shoes and Tomb Raider: The Series

What are your favorite choices for the top 3 books that you'd like to see turned into a movie? Mine are choices that are tricky to accomplish. If the right people are in the right parts however, it could be excellent. They are grouped into two categories. The first is a children's book that is a long time favorite. The second is based on a video game. Both are perfect choices.

My first choice on this list for the top three books that you'd like to see made into a movie is a children's book. It is one book in a series of other books written by Noel Streatfeild. The first book in this series has already been made into a movie. I would love to see the second book entitled: " Theater Shoes" also made into a movie. When I was a child this series of books were my favorites. The story is classic and timeless. Emma Watson should play the eldest Martin daughter certainly. The other roles are uncertain. There are many talented children actors that could easily play the roles. The names are different and the time line is different. The children in the primary roles however are all similar. They are orphans named: Sorrel, Mark and Holly that are sent to live with their grandmother who is a famous English actress. The book opens with Sorrel, Mark and Holly Martin learning that their father has gone missing from the Navy. The rest of the story is about the children learning about their famous grandmother and participating in the Theater as they grow. It is a charming tale of the human spirit and how family should work in times of trouble. The director should be the same as the movie "Ballet Shoes". Sandra GoldBaucher directed the first book in this series and she should direct this one as well. Her ability to capture what the fans imagined when reading the book as a child is absolutely perfect.

The second choice for the list of the top 3 books you'd like to see turned into a movie are from the Tomb Raider Fiction series entitled: "The Man of Bronze". In this first book in this series Lara is on a world mission to solve a mystery regarding Reuben Batiste. It is riveting. Angelina Jolie should play the role of Lara as she did in the video game movies. No one yet to date has accomplished this task as well as she has. Her work is absolutely perfect. I believe that the original first movie entitled " Tomb Raider" had a production team that was superior to the second movie. They should be assigned the task of creating this one for sure.

The third choice for the list of the top 3 movies that you'd like to see turned into a movie is the second book in that series entitled: "The Lost Cult". Once again I believe the lead actress should be Angelina Jolie and the original movie "Tomb Raider" production team should be the ones to make it. This book opens with Lara becoming the prime suspect in a murder case. It is the story line that Tomb Raider: "Angel of Darkness" the video game was based upon. It is stunning. Any fan should check this book out. Amazon has it available as does Hastings. It is a wonderful read.

Henry Edward Fool's book: When I Was a Low-Life would make a pretty impressive movie.

I don't mean this to sound conceited, but I would like to see my book as a movie. I think a movie about someone getting thrown through the windshield of a car and not even going to the doctor because of it while his brother who stayed in the car had to get a few stitches would be interesting especially when several other odd things like that were thrown in with it.
