Top 3 Books-To-Movie Choices of Mine: They All Have the Same Author

Vince Flynn's Extreme Measures, Consent to Kill, and Executive Power Would Make Great Action Movies!

Radell Smith
Hollywood is famous for turning books into movies, and they are also well-known for making sequels too. My Vince Flynn books would give them plenty of hits, with recurring characters and storylines right off the pages of today.

Top 3 Books-to-Movie Choices of Mine - #1: "Extreme Measures," by Vince Flynn

The CIA, terrorist cells, al-Qaeda and congressional enemies of America all play a part in this book by New York Times Bestselling author Vince Flynn. This powerhouse book would demand a feature film that includes such star power as Jodie Foster in the role of CIA Director Irene Kennedy (smart and beautiful), Daniel Craig would be a great fit for Mike Nash, hero Mitch Rapp's side kick.

Mitch's role would go to Chuck Norris, the only actor physically capable of whipping the foreign bad guys physically-and the congressional ones verbally. The female protagonist in Washington, who heads the committees that threatens to hinder Mitch's efforts to save America from her enemies, should be played by Tina Fey. Clint Eastwood should direct and produce it, lending his special ability to successfully pair violence with eye-opening messages.

New characters would have to be added to the main actor and actress lists from before. Specifically, a female as Mitch's new wife Anna Rielly (Jennifer Aniston would be great). In addition, Mitch's 'come when I call' military buddy Scott Coleman (think Vin Diesel), and a boss for CIA Director Irene. This 'new boss', Mark Ross, needs to be played by Ben Stiller. Two assassins (a male/female duo) would be needed too; Hugh Jackman and Hillary Swank would be good choices.

A Saudi billionaire (?) and an ex-German spy (Harrison Ford could pull it off) would also be needed for this film. The same producer/director (Eastwood) could 'make it happen'. Clint could get audiences to mourn Aniston's demise by killers, as they gave serious thought to how our political climate is rife with influence from foreign dignitaries with dollars; and how some people will do anything to silence their critics, including killing their wives.

Top 3 Books-to-Movie Choices of Mine - #3: "Executive Power," by Vince Flynn

The presidential character from this book would be brought to life on the big screen by Michael Douglas. Douglas could exude an air of 'I still want to be in the game, but physically can't, so I'll support the man who can'. That's a crucial role in Executive Power, providing Mitch and company with the support of the president. And characters in this book need that, as they have enemies everywhere, including Palestine and Israel.

Other new characters in this Flynn film would include some Palestinian terrorists (Ali Mohammed Akili and Mabram Khouri) and an Israeli diplomat (Nazih Akly) that CIA Director, Irene Kennedy (Jodi Foster) can't trust after all. This 'kick butt; take names later' series would be Terminator, Rambo, and Rocky all in one.

Political unrest, terrorism, and internal breakdowns between the military and congress threaten America and her citizens in the Vince Flynn books. But a male hero akin to Rocky Balboa, the Texas Ranger, and the Terminator fix that.
