Red, Hot, and Blue
Awesome food, superior service, and ice cold sweet tea-this is Red, Hot and Blue in a nutshell. Red, Hot and Blue has 9 locations in Texas, and we're lucky enough to have one in Dallas. This is a fun barbeque restaurant to bring your family, have a business lunch, or even a special occasion banquet. Their décor is colorful and festive and always centered around their signature logo of two pigs playing guitars. They are famous for their pulled pork sandwiches and melt-in-your-mouth ribs. Sides include their famous potato salad, creamy cole slaw, garlic mashed potatoes, barbeque beans, fried okra, hush puppies, turnip greens, and jumbo sweet potatoes. Prices range from $7 to $15. Their menu offers other specialties such as large entrée salads, burgers, sandwiches, and Southern favorites like fried catfish or chicken fried steak.
Sonny Bryan's Smokehouse
Sonny Bryan's Smokehouse has been around since 1910. There are six locations in the Dallas area including the original location on Inwood Road. Sonny Bryan's offers a superb selection of barbeque fare for reasonable prices. Go for the succulent ribs that fall off the bone and will leave you licking your fingers. They have a wide variety of side dishes like macaroni and cheese, fried okra, cole slaw, potato salad, and their world famous onion rings. Prices range from $10-$20. Baker's Ribs
Baker's Ribs doesn't mess around. They serve "straight-up, down-home Texas style barbeque." This local barbeque restaurant is consistently rated in the top of the best barbeque restaurants in Texas Monthly magazine. Baker's Ribs is a cornerstone in the Deep Ellum community and has been serving patrons for years. You have to try their ribs and brisket which are slow roasted over hickory logs using their secret family recipe. People rave about their beans and dill potato salad. Prices range $10-$15. Baker's Ribs also has excellent catering options for your business lunches or family parties. This local barbeque restaurant will be one that you won't forget.

Red Hot and Blue? Really? They are a Washington DC chain. I am shocked people from Texas would actually give them the time of day.
Used to love Sonny Bryan's when I lived in Dallas :-)
