The 4th of July is summer's most exciting holiday, and people all over Arizona are celebrating. Some may choose to host pool parties and barbeques from the comfort of their own backyard, but many people will partake in the most popular July 4th tradition - watching fireworks! There will be many festivals and fireworks shows throughout Arizona this year, so here's your guide to three events where you'll have the most fun.

Tempe Town Lake July 4th Festival

Prepare for a ton of fun if you're heading down to Tempe Town Lakes for July 4th. The event starts at 4pm and will feature live local entertainment all evening. Families can enjoy the Fantastic Family Fest, which will offer free inflatable rides, rock climbing walls, face painters, relay races, and more. Adults can attend the Budweiser Beer Garden. At the gate tickets are $8 each or two for $15. Children under 12 and those with military ID are free. Tickets can be purchased for 6$ in advance at your local Fry's Marketplace. Fireworks will be shot off from the Mill Avenue bridge. You can bring blankets, chairs, cameras, umbrellas, and one gallon of water per person (sealed). No outside food or drink is allowed.

Fabulous Phoenix 4th

One of the most popular and largest fireworks displays in Phoenix takes place at the Steele Indian School Park. This family oriented event is from 6pm until 10pm, with fireworks starting at 9:20pm. There will be inflatable rides, three entertainment stages, a classic car show, and food and drink will be available for purchase. The Phoenix Fire Department will be standing by to spray you down if you get too hot. Admission is free, but rides will cost $1-$2. Bring your chairs, blankets, and coolers. Do not bring alcohol or glass containers.

4th of July All American Festival
Peoria Sports Complex, Mariner's Practice Fields
16101 N 83rd Avenue
Peoria, AZ

The event is from 5pm until 10pm, with fireworks starting at 9:15pm. There will be both rock music and country music at the event, in two separate zones. The event will also feature an F-16 fly-over, a Kids Zone, a Water Zone, and a variety of vendors. The 2nd Annual Prep All-Star Showcase baseball game starts at 5:30 in the Main Stadium. Alcohol and glass containers are prohibited, but beer will be available for purchase in the entertainment and food zones. Parking is free and admission is $5. Children under 13 get in free.
