#3. Brett Favre. Who doesn't like Brett Favre? His arm strength and toughness had a lot to do with. He's just one of those athletes you always wanted to see win unless he was facing your team. Not Joe Montana, John Elway, Peyton Manning, or Tom Brady but Brett Favre. When you watched Brett he looked and actually was having fun playing the game he loves. He gave everything he had up to his last game. If you played against anybody who picked the Packers on a football video game you knew they were going to pass the ball the entire game and Favre was probably the only player on that team they could name. He threw the pretties passes and made it look easy. His down to earth personality made you like him even more. You will think of Brett Favre every time you see the Green Bay Packers the same way you think of Michael Jordan when you see the Chicago Bulls.

#2 Tiger Woods. Before Tiger Woods were you really interested in golf? I wasn't. He has brought a huge new fan base to the sport. I'm not the biggest golf fan myself but I will often tune in to see how Tiger is doing or just to watch him make a couple shots. Tiger Woods is the Michael Jordan of golf. You see him on more commercials than Peyton Manning. People recognize greatness whether they are a fan of golf or not. Tiger Woods has a lot of talent and fans. People just love him.

#1 Michael Jordan. What kid growing up in the Michael Jordan era didn't want to be like him? There was a reason why they called him Air Jordan, he had great elevation. He made you feel like you could dunk when you knew you couldn't. I miss those want to be like Mike commercials. A lot of people still want to be like Mike, just ask Kobe Bryant. He hit clutch shots time after time and they all looked amazing. From grade school to high school if you had a pair of his shoes you got attention. Players today from amateur to pro want to wear a number 23 basketball jersey. Michael is in no doubt the most loved athlete and maybe the greatest athlete of all time.
