Top 3 Movies Starring Wrestler Hulk Hogan

Karen Barnes
Any wrestling fan will know Terry Bollea, aka Hulk Hogan, from his stint of Hulkamania. You may also know Hogan from his wrestling careers with WCW, WWF (now the WWE), or TNA.

While Hogan's popularity in wrestling was from the mid '80s to the early '90s, he has made a name for himself in the movie genre with guest appearances in several movies and starring in 3 movies as the leading role.

In recent years, Hogan's fame has shifted into reality TV with his family until his recent divorce. No matter how you have heard of Hogan, Terry Bollea has became an icon in many homes through his antics in the ring, on the big screen and television.

Hogan has a line of wrestling figurines many of his wrestling fans have collected over the years. His list of collectibles can include remakes of his title belts he has held over the years.

While I didn't list Hogan's role in Rocky III, I suspect fans of this wrestling superstar may be a bit disappointed. I didn't feel it should be listed because he wasn't in the leading role.

3. Suburban Commando

Terry "Hulk Hogan" Bollea appears as an intersellar hero in Suburban Commando. He becomes stranded on Earth after his ship becomes damaged. While it is a funny sci-fi movie, Hogan brings together the crime fighting attitude to correct the wrong doings of local suburbia.

2. Mr. Nanny

Terry "Hulk Hogan" Bollea stars as a nanny in Mr. Nanny. Hulk Hogan has made his way through two decades of wrestling fame and used his wrestling fame to his advantage for starring in this movie. He isn't the only wrestler to appear in this film. You will see former WWF tag team wrestler, Afa Anoai, and Ed Leslie better known as Brutus Beefcake in the WCW world.

1. No Holds Barred

This is a movie starring a wrestler, Terry "Hulk Hogan" Bollea, about wrestling. Terry "Hulk Hogan" Bollea isn't the only wrestling icon to be seen in the movie. You will find Jesse "The Body" Ventura and Gene Okerland who was a commentator on many wrestling shows in years past.
