Top 3 Natural Mascaras

Angie M
If you are one of the many women that are turning to organic beauty products, you will be delighted at some of the top lines of mascara on the market. Unlike some other mascara types available, this is a natural makeup product that is much healthier. The look, feel, and the price make many of these very worth while with the added benefit of being eco-friendly. Here I have compiled a list of three of my absolute favorite organic mascaras based on product performance and costs.

Mascara Plus Rose, designed by Aveda is a mere $12. What I love about this natural makeup product and many other Aveda products is the smell. The mascara contains rose extract and wax. This eco-friendly mascara goes on smoothly during application and really boosts the appearance of longer lashes. The state of the art applicator does a wonderful job of separating lashes too. If you regularly use organic beauty products, consider the full line of Aveda cosmetics as many are organic. Most Aveda products can be purchased at your local beauty shop or directly from the Aveda website.

Although I have never personally used this makeup, I have friends that swear by Organic Wear natural makeup products. This is a relatively new brand of organic beauty products that boasts being the first certified organic line of makeup in the United States. Their line of "Natural Origin" mascara comes in two shades of black and costs only $9.99. I recommend this not only because of cost, but the friends who use this look great! I have yet to see this particular natural makeup item on store shelves but it can be ordered by visiting www.organicwear.com.

Sephora catalog online, www.sephora.com also offers various brands of organic beauty products and natural makeup. For around $15, the Bare Escentuals offers an awesome organic mascara. This mascara adds both extreme volume and length. The brush is quite unique, which is probably part of the reason why lashes look so great. Natural makeup products such as this is well worth the extra few dollars you will have to pay for it.
