Top 3 Nintendo Wii Cheerleading Games for Girls
Girls Love Cheerleading and the Wii is the Perfect Games Console
The cheerleading games for the Wii that are listed below, not only give girls endless fun and enjoyment, either on their own or with their friends, but they also provide a great way for girls to work out and burn off energy.
With the Nintendo Wii, gone are the days when playing video games meant spending hours sitting in a chair. The Wii give girls a reason to get up and exercise, and Mom's can join in too and get a workout.
All of these games make the perfect birthday or Christmas present for any girl.
Enough of the patter... these are the top 3 cheerleading games for the Wii:
We Cheer will get girls up and dancing to the latest pop hits, featuring music from teenage artists like Hilary Duff, as well as lots of popular 1970's disco hits.
As well as the cheerleading moves, We Cheer allows players to customize their character to give them the perfect cheerleader outfit for dance competitions.
We Dance has choreographed routines that get the players spinning, kicking, jumping and dancing, so Mom's make sure they have plenty of space before they start.
Play modes include the Exercise Mode, which is excellent for burning calories and getting a good workout, Campaign Mode which is a 2 player mode where the players can compete to be team captain, and Party Mode where up to 4 players can join in the fun.
For a fun workout and to a great way to keep your girls busy for hours.
As if We Cheer wasn't good enough, We Cheer 2 brings more cheerleading options and adds more fun for everyone.
We Cheer 2 has a new soundtrack of 30 top songs that everyone will know. These are family friendly hits that will get everyone up and dancing - well at least the girls and their Moms.
There are more than 40 male and female characters that you can customize to create the perfect dance team. Girls will love creating their own characters, changing the eyes, hair style and color, lips, skin color, and even adding face art.
The play modes are similar to the original We Cheer, with an Exercise Mode, Training Mode, and a Championship Mode.
Players can perform full body dance movements and cheers, waving their Wii remotes as if they were pompoms and following trace lines on the screen that act as a guide.
We Cheer 2 is definitely a great way to keep fit and get a good workout.
The final cheerleading game of the 3 is All Star Cheer Squad, which differs from the other two in that it's a single player game that uses the Wii Fit Board.
By standing on the Wii Fit Board and using the Wii remote and nunchuck, the player can learn dozens of cool cheerleading and dance movements.
The team can be customized, by changing the character features, such as body shape, hair, facial features, and of course their cheerleading outfits.
Play modes include squad cheers and one on one cheers.
By using the Wii Fit Board the game helps the player to not only learn new dance moves, but to focus on their balance at the same time, all important if you want to become a champion cheerleader.
Well there you have it, the 3 top cheerleading games for the Nintendo Wii, and I am sure top on the gift list for many young girls this Christmas.

We had Wii Cheer and need to upgrade to the newer one. Great job!
my four year old would love them
I very much want to play these games!
I agree. The traditional video game has meant the player had to become a couch potato, but the Wii has beoken the mold, and it's all about action, balance, and a whole range of activities that burn calories and build muscle.
Never heard of these, but they sound like fantastic activities. It's really nice to see the fusion of electronic technologies that increase desire for actually using our bodies to participate.
Good job !
