Having trouble trying to come up with this year's holiday party theme? Have you searched the internet for something creative and fun but came up with nothing? Well look no further as you will find the following themes are creative, simple, affordable, and easy to implement.

Super Bowl - January is the most exciting month for football fans and the months leading up to it are no exception. Planning a holiday party with a Super Bowl theme is very easy and enables the planner to show their creative side. Wear your favorite football team's jersey and have your guests do the same. When serving snacks, meals, desserts, or drinks do so by using football themed utensils, plates, glasses, etc., if making a cake purchase a baking pan in the shape of a football, purchase items from your local "Sports Authority" store for decorations such as "Denver Broncos" flags that can hang from the ceiling or "Minnesota Vikings" murals that can be hung on the walls. Using memorabilia from several different football teams will truly bring out the spirit of football so it's good to represent a variety of teams.

Casino-Whether you're a fan of Las Vegas or Atlantic City, creating a casino theme for your party is not only easy it can be quite inexpensive. For attire wear clothes that would resemble a casino dealer or waitress and suggest your guests dress the same. For the décor purchase a mural that is designed like a slot machine. Many online stores have these for sale and usually measure 40 x 4 and will add to the overall Casino theme. Since Casinos are known for their dazzling colors and twinkle lights pull out your Christmas lights and string them from the ceiling, purchase a poker party piñata and fill it will candy or other tasty treats, and purchase or create your own Casino signs. To really demonstrate a Casino, stock up on playing cards or poker chips, buy or rent a roulette wheel, and use Monopoly or play money. For table top and bar items buy a Casino snack bowl or Casino food platter, and use plastic martini glasses which can be purchased from your local dollar store. Finally send your guests home with party favors such as poker chips, poker key chains, light-up dice, or martini sunglasses.

Greek-For apparel ask the guests to dress in Greek attire such as togas or they can dress as someone in Greek mythology such as Zeus, Athena, or Hercules. Drape and sway white and/or gold gossamer across ceilings, walls, and the edges of the table skirts. String garland throughout the party area, station oil burning lamps, and grapevines, use candles everywhere you can as it creates a soft look. Because Greece is known for its architecture you'll want to have certain items on display. There are many rental companies that have columns, statues, busts, etc. that are inexpensive to rent and will definitely demonstrate the true Greek culture. For party favors guests will love personalized photo frames, personalized stem flutes, or golden laurel crowns which can even be given to them upon their arrival so they can wear them throughout the party.

As you can see, these themes are 3 of the easiest to implement and are also the most affordable. Instead of having another boring party consider one of these as they are quite popular.
