As a female I have been on a lot of dates around the world, since I have lived in New York the last few years while attended college I have had the ability to find the best date places here. I have been on some very horrible dates within the last few years but I am always asked about the best places to take a date. Regal New Roc City 18 is the local movie theatre located at 33 LeCount Place. What I love about this place is that they have an IMAX theatre and their showing of movies on the huge screen is amazing. They are open until 2am on weekends and the lighting is beautiful in the theatre. It is very crowded during the weekends but the lighting is beautiful and this makes it great for a date. The tickets are about $10 per ticket and I think the experience of the very big screen makes for a very good time during any date.

New Rock Bowling is a great bowling place that is just off of Main Street in New Rochelle, NY. The unique thing about New Rock Bowling that that they do bowling in a unique way. It is essentially glow in the dark and this makes for a great experience. The music is great even though it is loud the price is just $20 for a game with slices of pizza. The food is decent and the price is inexpensive so this makes for a great, inexpensive and unique date.

Glen Island is a park located at 400 Pelham Road in New Rochelle, NY. This is a great park because there are always a lot of kids playing and the atmosphere is very relaxed. The island is very secluded and the view overlooks the water. Feeding the ducks here can be amazing and this is a great way to have a nature date for free.
