~ For Women~
My first choice is definitely the Noxzema Sensitive Skin Razor. They come with a triple blade and that helps so much. They also have a aloe strip on them so it makes them easier to use. Whenever I have used them they have always done a great job and haven't irritated my skin. The only draw back to these is that they are disposable and after one use they are really not usable again. Its not recommended to use them over again but lets get real we don't always use our disposables once then throw them away. Unfortunately with these you will end up having to pitch them, They are about 5.00$ for a eight pack which really isn't that bad of a price for the job that they do. There are a lot of razors for a cheaper price in the disposable brand but they really don't do that great of a job. These are awesome for a disposable.
My second choice and only because I have to do them in order is the Venus Embrace Smooth 5. It has the added benefit of the Venus razor which is very comfortable. This razor has 5 blades and it has a moisture ribbon on it so that it glides smoother this added feature makes it almost certain that you will not have irritated skin. I love this razor it gets every hair and gets into places a regular one would. The only drawback to this razor is that it is a tad bit more expensive and it is a traditional razor which means you have to replace the blades. They cost about 8.00$ for the starter pack and the replacement blades are about 13.00$ this is a great deal because of the job they do. I am very impressed with this razor and it does a great job not irritating my skin.
My third choice is the Schick Intuition Razor For Sensitive Skin. I personally like this razor because of its conditioning strip that surrounds the blade. This feature is the best out of all the razors on the market. They have different kinds of the conditioning solid around the razor but they one that I like best is the one for sensitive skin. Even thought the conditioning solid is the best feature of the razor along with the four blades it can be the drawback of the product. If you don't keep the razors lid on it the conditioning solid will start to break down and be unusable. This razor is a standard razor and it comes doesn't come with a replacement blade, The starter kit for this will cost around 10.00$ and this will only include one razor and the handle. The replacement blade pack will include 3 replacement cartridges and it cost about 11.00$. The bonus to this razor is that you will not need shaving cream or lotion to use with it the conditioning solid does all of that for you.
~ For Men~
The first choice and only because this is what my husband uses would be the Schick Quatro Titanium. This razor is a traditional razor which means you will have to use replacement blades. It has a Aloe and Vitamin E strip on it along with four blades. This razor features three titanium coated blades which allows for a smoother shave and for the blade to last longer. You can find the starter pack for about 10.00$ and this will include the handle and two blades. The replacement blades for this razor will be significantly more expensive then the starter pack at about 22.00$. This equals out with because you will not have to replace the blade as often as others. All around it is a great choice it doesn't hurt skin or irritate it and is a good deal.
Second Choice is the Gillette Fusion Power Phenom Razor. This razor is also a traditional razor it has five blades and a precision trimmer blade. This razor is battery powered allowing for a closer shave. It is great for sensitive skin and also has a aloe strip for comfort. The trimmer blade will help you to get into the harder to reach areas and is all around a great razor. The starter pack will cost about 13.00$ and this will include the handle one blade and the battery for the razor. The replacement blades come to either four or eight to a pack and range in price from 15.00 to 28.00 . The only draw back to this razor is that the blades don't last as long as others and the battery can die which will leave you having to replace it. It gives a much smoother and closer shave and shouldn't irritate skin.
Third choice is the Schick Slim Twin disposable razor. This razor was designed for sensitive skin. It has an aloe and vitamin e strip included with it and twin blades. The drawbacks to these razors are they are disposable which means you will have to keep buying them and buying them. The blade doesn't last as long as normal but considering that they are designed for sensitive skin and do not irritate it its worth the money. They are about 7.00 for a pack of ten and that really is a bargain for the job that they do. I am a woman and I have tried these they don't leave razor bumps and really don't irritate my skin. Give them a try !!
I hope this gives you a little more information about what razors are out there. You can find all of these at your neighborhood stores, mass merchants and places online carry them too.
