All-Star Burger: While the city of Newerk has many tasty burger joints, All-Star sets itself apart from the fleet. Depending on the time of day, you may or may not get your burger in less than 15 minutes. As soon as you walk into All-Star Burger you will notice the diner type of setting with stools by the counter and booths located through out the rest of the place, however; don't be fooled, this place has the best burgers anywhere. The menu here is huge, with tons of combo deals and other selections such as Philly cheese steaks, chicken sandwiches, they have an entire breakfast selection. I've been going to this place for over 5 years and every time I order, I order the bacon cheeseburger. These burgers are truthfully a masterpiece, picture a half pound of beef, smothered by thick cheddar cheese and topped off with smoky strips of maple bacon. It will run you about $7 if you get it with fries and a drink. The burgers here are top notch and top rated. You will never get an uncooked burger unless you order it that way. Try one or more of the burger combo deals anywhere between $6-11, depending on the burger. The staff here usually consists of 2 people, one that takes orders and one that cooks so you may have to be a little patient, trust me it's worth it. The Boardwalk: The Boardwalk is not your ordinary "burger joint", it's upgraded! It here at The Boardwalk where you can get your choice of burgers, wings, cheese steaks, salads and many other mouthwatering options. The burger menu here is truthfully one of a kind, not only can you create your own burger, you will love the way that it taste. The feel of this place is that of a sports bar/lounge. While it can be packed with people during the game seasons, it's still a great place to bring the whole family to dine. Most of the burgers here are a little pricey at $6 or more, however; once you taste them you'll forget about the fee. When I mingle in The Boardwalk I usually order the Boardwalk Deluxe which consists of a quarter pound burger, topped with Canadian bacon and white cheddar followed by their secret relish sauce. It may sound like a lot to grasp your mind around, but don't knock it until you try it! Along with ordering burgers and other food here, you can order pitcher after pitcher of beer for less than $3 on Friday nights.

You will rarely find a burger at Jersey Joes that is packed with lettuce and tomato, at Jersey's its all BURGER in the hamburgers. When stepping into Jersey Joe's you will notice the east coast feel and all of the pictures on the wall, most of the pictures are of the owner and the celebrities he's served (check for Mr. New Material) in his restaurant. You can request that your burger be cooked from rare to well done and they will make sure it's right or it's free! Feast your eyes on the extensive menu they have which is loaded with hoagies, cheese steaks, pizza and of course, Burgers. I've been a regular at Jersey Joes since I was in high school and they were located a couple of city's over in Redwood City, they've managed to maintain their consistent pattern of great tasting food. If your intentions are to find a great burger and get full, go for the Joe's Burger Deal.
