Forks Washington - One of my favorite places to escape the city life is to spend a quiet and interesting weekend in Forks Washington. I never get tired of all the great outdoors and interesting things on the Olympic Peninsula. For those who are Twilight fans this can be a trip of a lifetime. Forks Washington is located on the Olympic Peninsula one of the United States rain forests. Activities available to the visitor to Forks is Boating, Beach Combing, explore the forest, visit the worlds largest cedar trees, Rialto Beach, Hoh rain forest, Kalaloch Beach, Lake Crescent just to name a few.

One great place to stay is the Manitou Lodge B&B located at 813 Kilmer Rd, Forks Washington. The Manitou Lodge is a beautiful lodge sitting on ten acres of the beautiful coastal rainforest. Wildlife abounds around Manitou Lodge and nights are silent and restful. Room rates range from $99.00 to $179.00. Visit www.manitolodge.com for more information or to make reservations for your weekend getaway at Forks Washington.

For that Twilight fan visit www.forkswa.com/twilight/ to learn of all the points of interest in the area. Visit La Push and see where those beautiful and masculine shape shifters originated. Enjoy a visit or stay at The Cullen House - which is actually the Miller Tree Inn B&B named by the Forks Chamber of Commerce the Cullen House. Interestingly this small quaint town of Forks Washington has opened its doors and hearts to those Twilight fans around the world.
