Viral videos are like a disease; once they catch on they spread like wildfire through the internet at blazing speed, hence the name viral. 1. Pants on the Ground - American Idol does it again. There is no reason this guy should be on American Idol because he's over the age limit but here he is. Simon is one smart guy as this video went viral and made both Simon and the Pants on the Ground singer General Larry Platt. 2. Dan Boyle own goal in overtime game 3 of Sharks vs. the Avalanche series - Very rarely is a hockey video ever viral but the bad luck San Jose Sharks broke this rule in an infamous manner. More specifically it was defensemen Dan Boyle whose own goal in overtime of a 0-0 game garnered several hundred thousand views depending on where you see it.

3. Wasted Guy at Coachella - So it seems like every year there is a drunken guy (or high) that makes the YouTube viral video hall of fame.
