Top 3 Viral Videos: The Ones You Watch Over and Over!

You may not have heard the term, "viral videos," but you have probably watched many of them! One of the first viral videos that you might remember was the dancing baby that surfaced in 1996. A video is described as viral when it becomes an Internet phenomenon, being passed from recipient to recipient through email forwarding. Here is my list of the Top 3 Viral Videos.

1. The most thrilling viral video I have ever watched was the video of Susan Boyle's performance on Britain's Got Talent 2009, found on Youtube. It is titled, "Susan Boyle - Singer - Britains Got Talent 2009." This frumpy little 47-year old woman, who admits that she has never even been kissed, is ridiculed by the audience and patronized by the judges. However, when she opens her mouth and sings her first line of "I Dreamed a Dream" from "Les Miserables," they all are totally overwhelmed. She has the most beautiful vocal voice I have ever heard, and the unexpectedness of it just makes it more amazing!

2. The most unique and mesmerizing video I have ever seen is a performance from the television show, "Ukraine's Got Talent." This video, entitled, Kseniya Simonova - Ukraine, Sand Painting is found on LiveVideo. A young lady named Kseniya Simonova does sand painting on a light box. She simply uses her fingers to draw images in the sand, and the light illuminates the drawing. You have a view from above, where you can see the entire picture and her movements, which are almost a dance in themselves. She does an amazing and emotional portrayal of the Nazi invasion of the Ukraine. It evolves in the form of a storyline set to haunting Ukrainian music.

3. Finally, I will mention this video by virtue of the number of hits, and consequently, the income it produced. I Don't Like You Mommy," is a very normal home video of someone's child sitting in the high chair wanting cookies. It is really not that funny. This lady merely filmed her little boy saying something that she thought was cute, and she has had 42,949,562 views on this video! This should have provided her with some income to help pay for his college education. This video was really nothing spectacular or even that funny. It has become viral, possibly from its mere human quality. It gives us a sense of what income one can produce while drawing from their everyday life experiences, especially if it becomes one of the Top Three Viral Videos.
