Top 3 Worst Reality TV Shows

Ug. Reality TV shows. 99% aren't based in reality and these next few aren't even based in the human world. If there are shows to avoid, here they are.

I Love New York. All I really want to say is that I hate I Love New York. This "bachelorette" type show is probably the worst piece of television to come out in a long time. If you haven't seen this show, thank the heavens. You have been spared from something really awful. It's not just awful because of the bad production value or the potential silly guys that may end up with New York. I suppose I don't like the show because of the main focus, the girl known as New York.

New York is titled so because of Flava Flav. It's a nickname he gave her on hi own show, The Flava of Love. I Love New York is a rip-off of the Flava of Love which is a rip-off of anther mediocre show, The Bachelor. It just keeps getting worse as you can see. New York is loud, rude, obnoxious, mean, petty, silly, and just plain undesirable. The show's title is meant to be ironic. Even New York knows that she is a lot to handle and thinks the title is funny because so many people don't like her.

I'm appalled that people would put a show on the air of this caliber. The producers must have no taste and the show has no class. It's all about being famous and making money off viewers who are looking to hate another human being. People are making fun of this girl and she's eating it up because she's making money. That's the worse part. She's making money by degrading herself and the more people hate her the more she makes. I feel sorry for her and her show. I hope she gets more out of it than the money, otherwise it shouldn't be worth it.

There are guys on the show who say "Just watch it for fun. It's not real." I get that. But I think reality shows like this tell us that we don't have to use our brains anymore. They are destroying America and people's attention spans. So it's just for fun. We'll I think shows like this insults people's intelligence and that has a bigger impact than viewers realize.

The Real Housewives of Orange County. Talk about being famous and making money. These people seem to be soulless. They can break up with their husbands and boyfriends just to raise the ratings. They can yell at their kids or pretend to make a moment more dramatic to appease the editing. Let's not even get into how editors manipulate the situations by only showing us the bad parts. But I'm tempted to say that there are no good parts to this show.

The 'Housewives" are typical Hollywood white, rich, insensitive, unintelligent people. This show, much more than I Love New York, is an insult to the intelligence that still survives in Californians. There are, believe it or not, smart white rich women. Unfortunately this is all that America has to show for it. Even the women who have jobs and are struggling to make their families work on the show are so full of botox and have had so much liposuction that they don't look real enough to believe anything that comes out of their mouths.

The Simple Life. I can't even say much about this except that Nicole and her sister give young white socialites a bad name.

I hope none of you ever have to watch any of these shows. But if you do, please keep in mind that they are not real and people don't really act like this. Or at least tell yourselves that they don't because if they did, I wouldn't be able to live happily in this world any longer.
