Top 4 Hotels to Stay at Near Fort Cambpell, Kentucky

The Turner Army Lodge is located on Fort Campbell. It is just inside of the main gate. This would be the best place to stay if it is available. I suggest reserving a room as soon as you have a date of your visit to post. The hotel has 135 rooms that fill up quickly, especially during holidays and deployments. Rooms include fully equipped kitchenettes, standard amenities, computer access, free laundry rooms, and also continental breakfast. There is a very nice playground for the kids, but no pools at the hotel. There are several pools on post that may be used if needed. I recommend this hotel first because my family stayed here for almost two weeks when we moved to Fort Campbell. Reservations may be made from 8am - 4pm daily by calling Turner Army lodging 270-439-2229. Both ID cards or a marriage license have to be present upon check-in.

Holiday Inn Express is located just off I-24, about 4 miles from Fort Campbell's main gate. This hotel is used by visiting friends and family when the guest house is not available. It has great rooms that provide all the basic amenities plus it has an indoor pool with a Jacuzzi. The hotel has a small fitness room that is good for a basic workout. Pets are allowed at this hotel also, but there are only five pet rooms. It also has continental breakfast with free newspapers available. High speed internet comes with every room. Room prices start in the high $80's, check in time is at 3pm and check out is at 12 noon. Reservations can be made by calling the desk at 866-270-5110.

Days Inn is located across the street from the Holiday Inn. The hotel offers all the same amenities as the other hotels, but their prices are a little cheaper with rooms starting at $54.00. The pool is outside and uncovered. So plan only swimming in the summer. They also offer continental breakfast and newspapers and they have free high speed internet. Call the front desk at 270-640-3888 for reservations. I recommend this hotel for smaller families due to the room sizes. Also if swimming is on your priority list, only stay here in the summer because of the uncovered pool.

The Quality Inn is also located just off of Interstate 24 next to the Days Inn. They promote that kids stay free at this hotel. They also provide free high speed internet and all the basic amenities. When my family stayed here we noticed the rooms where very clean compared to the other hotels. It also looked like they had just upgraded there mattresses on all the beds. The Quality in has an indoor swimming pool and a very nice breakfast bar. Their prices start at $69.00. Reservations can be made by calling 270-439-3311. They also give AARP discounts.

There are only four hotels in this review because I only wanted to write about the hotels I have had experiences with. There are a few others in the area, but myself or my family have not stayed at them, so I cannot give an honest assessment of them. I have either stayed at all these hotels or had family members stay at them. I recommend all these hotels for friends, family, or Soldiers PCSing to Fort Campbell. The hotels are military friendly and give military discounts. They deal with the military everyday and should be able to answer most of your questions about the Clarksville/Oak Grove/Fort Campbell area.
