Coeur d'Alene, Idaho is one of the most visited places in all of Northern Idaho. With its majestic mountains and beautiful lakes visitors come from all over to experience it's wonders. No matter if you're visiting in the summer or winter, staying on the Lake Coeur d'Alene will definitely be something you remember from your trip.
The Coeur d'Alene Resort
The Coeur d'Alene Resort is a beautiful hotel on the shores of Lake Coeur d'Alene. It boasts a Marina, beautiful rooms with balconies and fireplaces. Although it's very pricey to stay here, you will have access to all the shops down town, the beach, cruises, and the floating golf course.
Red Lion Templin's Hotel on the River
This hotel sits along the banks of the Spokane River and is located in Post Falls, mere minutes from Coeur d'Alene. The Red Lion Templin's has gorgeous views of the river, pontoon boat rentals, a bar and restaurant, tennis courts, volley ball courts and an indoor pool. This hotel is a good one to stay at if you aren't planning on doing a lot of exploring on foot. The room rates vary, but are reasonable.
The Coeur d'Alene Casino Resort
The Coeur d'Alene Casino Resort is not really in Coeur d'Alene. It's actually about half an hour away, but it's a spectacular place to stay if you want a nice place to stay and plenty to do. Obviously, there is a casino, but you can also try your hand at golf, see a show or House of Fury boxing matches, eat in the awesome restaurants, check out the spa, or just relax in the pool or hot tub. This hotel has more than 300 rooms and rates are very reasonable.
Best Western Coeur d'Alene Inn and Conference Center
The Best Western is off the highway and not near the water or downtown. However, the Best Western in Coeur d'Alene has good rates, nice amenities such as the pool and patio area. You can even take your meal on the patio by the pool. This hotel is a great place to stay or organize an event. They also hold events such as the "Rock n' Roll New Year's Eve." So, if you're looking for a really good place to hold an event the Best Western Coeur d'Alene is a good bet.
