Chateau Ste Michelle- Eroica Riesling (2008)
Eroica is a dry flavorful wine that has hints of oranges, limes and a subtle hint of berries. It pairs extremely well with roasted apples and pork chops. This Riesling also goes well with bolder, spicier foods like Indian curries and Asian inspired dishes. Eroica costs $24.99 directly from Chateau Ste Michelle's website or you can find it in your local Wine's & Spirits store often on sale.
[yellow tail]- Riesling
This wine is fruity yet earthy with cinnamon undertones. A soft lemon zest is the first aroma you sense and then a hint of orange blossoms comes wafting through. [yellow tail] is one of my favorite wines not just for taste but because it compliments so many dishes from fruit based desserts to pasta's with white sauce. And it is inexpensive. A bottle of [yellow tail] Riesling costs approximately $7.97 making it truly an affordable wine.
Barefoot Cellars- Riesling
If you've never tasted sunshine in a glass then you have never tried Barefoot Cellars Riesling. A combination of apple and citrus flavors blended so perfectly together make this wine excellent. I would call this a half-dry Riesling since it is not as dry as the earlier mentioned wines. Its sweetness lends well to pairings with fruits, cheeses, and chocolates better than main course dishes. Try it with fondue and you will be delighted. A bottle of Barefoot Cellars Riesling cost approximately $6.99 for 750ml.
3 Blind Moose- Riesling 2007
I love the name and the wine. 3 Blind Moose caught my attention in the store because of the quirky label showcasing three moose sitting around a table sipping wine. The name helped me decide it would be worth trying. This wine is full of flavor and very fruity. If you don't like your Riesling to be on the sweeter side then this one is not for you. Since I like my white wines to be dry and sweet this one was spot on. It pairs well with fruits, breads and cheeses. I actually enjoyed this while eating chocolate fondue with slices of kiwi, strawberries, bananas, mozzarella cheese and different types of bread. It costs about $7.99 for a 750ml bottle.

Cools!
I'm not a big white wine fan, and I haven't been able to really drink alcohol of any kind recently. I am a big red fan though. However, Buffy loves white wine, and the Rieslings are among my favorites.
Excellent! =0)
Yummm...
I like the sweeter wines and I just noticed that I have a bottle of Yellow Tail on top of my fridge...left over from the last time my sister was here. Maybe it's time to try it!
