A natural light show occurs every evening in the sky above Matira. Bold colors appear to dance across the horizon tempting visitors to remain in the tropical paradise just a few minutes longer. The laid-back atmosphere invites mid-afternoon naps in lawn chairs or the reading of a good novel under the shade of an umbrella.
5- Pink Sands Beach - Harbour Island - The Bahamas
Sand granules cast with a pinkish-white hue are only one of the unique attributed of Pink Sand Beach. Adrenaline junkies flock to the beach to try and conquer the Current Cut Dive. The lightening fast current which passes through two walls of rock is more than moderately challenging. Photographers are also frequent visitors to Pink Sand Beach, seeking to capture the perfect angle to showcase the blues of the water and pinks sands as they appear to melt into an even more colorful backdrop as the sun sets over The Bahamas.
