1) Don't lose out on beauty sleep. A good night's sleep is very essential for your health. An improper sleep can lead to dark circles. However busy you are, whether you are working in a corporate world or a stay-at-home mom, you must make it a point that you get enough rest as required. It is commonly believed that eight hours of sleep is necessary. But research suggests that even 6-7 hours of sleep is adequate for good results. If you have a problem like insomnia, some home remedies can come in handy. Milk is a good drink to have before bedtime. A little aerobic exercise can also help to induce sleep.
2)Maintain a short haircut. A short haircut can take years off your face. Long hair can make you look older, tired and worn-down. A short haircut adds a youthful charm to your face. You can discuss various haircuts with your hairdresser which suit your face and go for it. Nowadays, layers are an in thing and make your mane energetic and shiny. If you like it, you can add highlights to your hair for a different look. Remember to cover the grey hair while going in for a highlight job.
3) Ensure your surroundings are clean. You know why your grandmother still has pink cheeks? That's because she has lived in an environment which had minor stress, pure air, and clean water and was close to the nature. All these factors contribute to the quality of life we live. Try and plant more trees near your house. This will make your surroundings clear and oxygen rich, as that is what trees let out freely for us!
4)Wear minimal makeup. Nothing can match a natural beauty. The chemicals used in the makeup can affect your skin and cause allergies too. Wear makeup with discretion. Light, pastel shades will make you look young and vibrant. Try out earthy shades of lipstick. Our aim is to look as natural as possible.
5) Visit your dentist regularly. A beautiful face is complimented by an equally healthy set of teeth. Make it a point to visit your dentist at least twice a year. False teeth are an option, but they make you look older instead. Include calcium rich food in your diet and it will keep you away from osteoporosis too. Certain things that can be done are brushing your teeth twice everyday and after every meal. Sometimes, use of teeth whitening creams can help too.
