Biltmore Gardens RV Park

Stay within five minutes of downtown Savannah and enjoy a trolley ride to all of the historic buildings and shopping areas. All the spacious campsites are electrically enabled and have access to cable television and wireless Internet service. This RV park is the closed campground style lodging facility to the historic district. While a little short on luxury, the park is clean and located on both the trolley and public bus route. Well behaved pets are permitted at campsites. The on-site collectibles and antiques store offers both handmade items and décor.

Skidaway Island State Park

Immerse yourself in nature at the 588 acres state park. Campsites are spacious enough to accommodate both large recreational vehicles and group camping tents. Lace up your hiking boots to traverse the rugged trails along the Skidaway narrows or go kayaking along the Intracoastal Waterway. Amenities at the state park include three playgrounds, five picnic shelters and wildlife viewing areas. Park your RV or pop a tent onto a grassy campsite on Tybee Island. This is the only campground on the island, so make your reservations at least a month in advance to get a space. Campground amenities include an outdoor swimming pool, cable television access, game room,meeting room with a full kitchen, air-conditioned bath house, laundry center, screened pavilion and on-site convenience store.

The Savannah RV Resort at Red Gate Plantation is situated on 200 secluded acres. You can enjoy all of the trappings of nature yet remain within an eight minute drive from downtown Savannah. Tybee Island is a twenty minute drive from the facility. Campsites are enabled with 30 to 50 amp electrical service, sewer and water service. Campground amenities include wireless Internet access, basketball court, White Rock campsites, fitness center, an outdoor swimming pool, picnic pavilion, playground, meeting area with a full kitchen, 25 acres of fishing ponds, children's petting zoo. Enjoy communing with other campers at the clubhouse. You can shoot a game of pool or catch a ballgame on the large screen television. Guests can utilize the "Toy Barn" to park motorcycles and golf carts for convenient access during a stay.
