Top 5 Cars of 2007

The Philadelphia Auto Show has just ended, and this will be a guide to the most impressive cars I found there for 2007. We will be looking at cars from all walks of life and all price ranges. I will try to provide information for everyone from the student commuter in the need of a car to the all out super car for those of you have endless funds.

Nissan 350Z- The 350Z is already known as a great little sports car, but this years Nissan has improved it even more. Nissan has given the 350Z more horsepower for 2007 in the form of the VQ35Hr engine. The new improvements to the engine bump it up to by more than 15 horsepower giving it 300 ponies for plenty of power. The 350Z has been a great car in the past and this year it's even better. The popularity of the 350Z in the tuner market will also make for some interesting extras if your interested later down the line.

Audi RS 4- One step up from the S4, the Audi RS 4 is a new beautifully styled Audi. With a 4.2 liter V8 engine at its helm, the RS 4 packs 420 horsepower into an already great all wheel drive package. If you like Audi's, you`ll simply love the RS 4.

Volkswagen Rabbit- The most attractive part of the VW Rabbit is that it is very reasonably priced. The base price is under $15,000 and the Rabbit is a great little car to get you where you need to go. The Rabbit boasts 150 horsepower and a 2.0 liter inline 5 cylinder engine. The Rabbit is a very attractive car, and can be used for just about any normal driving situation.

Ferrari F430- The F430 replaces the Ferrari Modena for 2007, but in my opinion is a much more attractive car. No gas guzzling V12 here, this Ferrari features a 4.3 liter V8. Sporting 483 horsepower, the V8 is properly shown off underneath the trademark Ferrari clear engine window in the back of the car. The optional F-1 paddle shifters have also been improved for 2007 so the gears change a bit quicker, taking the 430 from 0-60 in under 4 seconds.

Porsche Cayman- The 2007 Cayman is largely based on Porsche's popular Boxster. This is an enrty level Porsche with a base price at less than $50,000 dollars. As stated, the Cayman is based on the Boxster but it has been given a stiffer bodyshell for better handling. The engine remains the same as that of the Boxster, and comes in 2 options. You can get a 2.7 liter H6 with 245 horsepower or a 3.4 liter H6 with 295 horsepower. The Cayman follows the Porsche legacy of speed and can really get your blood pumping. With a top speed of 170 miles per hour and a 0-60 time of 5.1 seconds, the Cayman won't disappoint. The Cayman is a terrific little car for those that want more than a Boxster, but can't quite make the step up to the 911.

    The VW Rabbit has a 2.5 liter 5-cyl, not a 2.0
